Wonderfully fresh fish. Never had bad seafood here. Their Tuna Sashimi is to die for. They also make some pretty good rolls and bento boxes. Even the avacado is great. Only thing is it's very small so if you aren't looking for takeout you might have to wait a while. Much easier if you order ahead of time.

They rolls are not a usual rolls tat you are used to. they all have something extra which makes them more interesting .
Sometimes a restaurant gives themselves a cheesy name like this one and doesn't deliver. Not the case. The sushi quality and freshness was on point. My Toro sashimi was perfection. The spicy crunch role had just the right spice and crunch. Only piece I didn't like was the wild salmon nigiri, in reality I found it dry. For the price though this place has great service, location and quality. The prawn tempura and miso soup was great too!
I order there all the time, the sushi is great, tasty and fresh, and for a really good price too. The only thing is the sometimes the cooked stuff isnt as good as I like it, but with the amount of sushi I consume, I hardly ever have space for the cooked food
Great tasting take-out sushi and ready by the time we arrived! Were willing to substitute out the roe in our platter.

This place is GREAT! Food is always a balance of price vs quality and this place definitely falls on the right side of that line!
The fish is fresh, the chefs are fast and skilled, and all the staff are friendly and warm. They'll get to know their regulars too and give you an extra treat now-and-then! The salmon is some of the freshest, fattest and tastiest I've had in the whole city - I like to get the Sake Don (6 HUGE cuts of fatty salmon and a heap of tasty sushi rice for 9 bucks!) Plus their cooked faire (Gomae, Udon, Tempura, Tako-Yaki, etc) is made fresh to order and tasty too.

Our go-to sushi place. This has become our regular take-out sushi place (in Yaletown). Aside from finding mayo in my avocado roll (I'm vegan; I now order the roll without mayo), we have never been disappointed. The prices are reasonable compared to other sushi places in the area. I also LOVE that they have brown rice!
Great Food. I ordered take out from UBC late in the evening before driving back my place in Yaletown: Vegetable Udon and the Alaska roll with brown rice. Everything was ready when I arrived and to my taste, it was the best Alaska roll I've ever tasted and the Udon was amazing as well !
Definitely worth having a take out menu at hand if you like a good bowl of udon / eating sushi and live in the area. :)
Really good for take out spinach gomae was amazing the rolls were too!!! Definatly worth checking out, great vale too.
