There is a new healthy grab and go option on Granville Street in downtown Vancouver! At Hungry Guys, you can choose to get one of their signature creations, like my favourite Avocado Taco Salad, which is also the best seller. Or you can be creative and choose from the many yummy options! When you walk into the restaurant you see the long salad bar of beautiful ingredients that are the best that Mother Nature has to offer, all local, sustainable, free run, responsibly raised, free of GMO, free of all the things that is bad for us. The salads are full of robust flavours with every single bite. Although this restaurant follows the trend towards healthy fast grab and go food, the restaurant is a great place to relax with the great music and free wifi. The view is awesome from the second floor which can be used for a meeting place for groups like the #YVRFoodies or a staff lunch meeting or after work get together. You leave feeling satiated and nourished at Hungry Guys.

Thank goodness for Hungry Guys Kitchen! They are simply the best salad place in town! I’m surprised by the low ratings on Zomato. This place has a line up during lunchtime, so go a bit early, or have a late lunch as it seems like many of the office workers go here for a healthy lunch. I always get the custom salad which comes out to $6.82 (incl tax), and the portion is really generous! It’s the cheapest salad for the quality and quantity compared to anywhere else I know. I’ve never had to pick up brown leaves or veggies that looked sketchy which I’ve come across with Subway or Tim Horton’s salads.
Fresh, fast, healthy + eco friendly containers . . . what's not to like and it's all made right in front of you! Had the Pepita De Mi Vida, awesome. Will definitely be back.
I love me a burrito bowl from Hungry Guys!! Great value for the quantity and quality. They also have some pretty interesting beverage options, and it's a huge perk that they have so much seating and stay open late.
Decent place to get lunch or dinner on the way home. I've had the salads and burritos and they were both fairly large portions. It's build-your-own meal so you can tailor it to your own taste. Clean atmosphere with ample seating.
Hungry Guys Kitchen is a bright, clean oasis of a new place (almost 1 year old) on rather dilapidated downtown Granville. Simple food, good price, tastes fresh, good value/portion for money if you're just looking for a filling meal that doesn't cost too much. Not really a good choice for the indecisive as you direct them to assemble your burrito or bowl, but with some nudging I convinced them to put together their recommendation. Just under $9 so after tax it was just over $9. And just one burrito is worth two burgers so you might just want to order one to share.
I really enjoyed the burrito from these guys. The grilled tofu is tasty and has a great texture. Different and better than the vegetarian options at other burrito places. Fresh ingredients, friendly staff, and an open space make this a great place for lunch.
This place is great! I have no idea why the reviews are so low because I really enjoyed the food here. I ordered the salad, and it was nice and fresh and I actually felt like it was healthy unlike those other pick and choose ingredients places. Also the seating and atmosphere was nice. And the guy taking my orders was really sweet and considerate and even got me a glass of water, which I didn't need to request for.

I got the Spicy Mexican Burrito and a burrito bowl on two separate occasions, and both were delicious. There was plenty of shredded pork with a good balance of veggies and rice. The staff was also very friendly. Would definitely recommend!
Came by for a late lunch. Great options for building your own salad or bowl. I added grilled chicken as a protein, and combined with a brown rice base and 4 toppings, it was quite filling. My friend had a bowl and added guacamole, it was tasty and the guac balanced out how spicy their sriracha was! They appear to have seating upstairs, but it was closed when we went. Not a place for large groups as most of the tables are for 2. Service when ordering/customizing the meal was friendly. Will be back if I'm in the area!
I ate here for the first time tonight and was really impressed with the quality of the food and cleanliness of the restaurant! Everything was fresh and tasted great. I’ll be back again soon :)
Truly a hidden gem in Vancouver. I would walk past this place every few days and never thought to check it out. One day I finally did and it was phenomenal. Their ingredients are some of the freshest I’ve ever seen, and the bowls are a great portion size. If you’re looking for a tasty, healthy lunch, this is the spot to go to.

Lots of variety, fresh ingredients and large portions. I will definitely go again. The only downside is the location, very central but not clean.
Fantastic portions for cheap! For 68 bucks we got 5 meals that were more than filling and 5 drinks. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a cheap bite that it fresh and filling in Vancouver!!
