Took my mother here for dinner and I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is in a great location, unfortunately the construction made it a bit less relaxing than anticipated. There was also a jazz/blues singer in the small square which didn't compliment the atmosphere, rather made it worse.
We shared a pound of the Marinier Mussels with a side if bread and the pork lettuce wrap. The mussels were nicely done with a well balanced flavour, not too much garlic. It was nice to have the bread and soak up the extra sauce. The pork lettuce wrap was really tasty as well. Basically you get half a head of lettuce cut in half and the pork with cabbage on each quarter. While it is a nice presentation it was a bit messy. You have to take the pieces of lettuce from the bottom and be careful not to spill it. It was a delicious dish but I had hoped they would add more pickled cabbage for am added kick. Aside from the food, the servers were attentive as I never once felt I had to go in search of someone.
I have also been here for father's day bunch and that was pretty tasty. It was good we tried another time of the day as it seems to be a great restaurant for any meal. I would like to go back on a weekend when it is quieter on the patio as construction may not be occurring weekends.
A very large selection of craft beer. Ordered a pound of marinier mussels and it was very fresh, in my opinion. Next came my biercraft burger which came with an excess amount of moderately crisped fries. The burger itself was nothing special.
Overall, a very nice place to wind down and socialize with friends.
Come for the beer, stay awhile for the food. Mussels or a burger is good, it's all good. UBC is probably the least crowded of the 3 Biercraft locations if crowds bother you. The Westbrook Village surroundings is cool too.
I love the quality of the food, and for the price you pay (it's pricey compared to other campus food), some dishes offer a good amount of food, such as the mac and cheese and the burgers. I tried the vegetarian burger, and I liked it (though I've had better and worse). The fries were on the soft side, even though I prefer my fries to be crispier. I think Biercraft is a good place to socialize and share food/drinks with friends once in while.

If you like burgers, this is a place to go! Generous portions with a choice of salad or yes- "Belgian" fries. For the beer lovers, they offer a miriad of local and imported craft beers and their desserts - berry crumble in particular taste like homemade.
Excellent service with a personal touch and their summer patio is a great place to cool down in and enjoy ocean fresh breeze.
Great food. Impressed! Good for families, too.
Mussels. Fresh and sweet with a broth to die for
Locations do make a difference. While we thought BierCraft on Cambie was overrated and too "hipster", BierCraft Wesbrook was a pleasant surprise. We went as part of an office Christmas lunch. Would recommend and probably return if I were EVER in the Wesbrook area.
