Delicious. Searching for something in addition to a good bowl of pho, the “7 dishes of beef” was perfect to share with a group of friends. The spring rolls are also great. Don’t let the exterior of the restaurant fool you...the servers are welcoming to those less experienced with the “7 dishes of beef”. Definitely will be back.
Song Huong Vietnamese Restaurant is located on Nanaimo Street and East 1st Avenue. It is at the Grandview-Woodlands neighborhood.
It is one of our go to Vietnamese restaurants in Vancouver. This time we take a challenge ordering an extra large bowl (10" bowl) of Beef Noodle Soup - #8 slices of rare beef, flank and tripe with rice noodle in soup 🍲
Authenitic and most beef noodle soups that we order taste delicious.
Amazing food for a low price. Quick service.

I always crave pho the end of a rainy day, and this day was no different. I came to Song Huong with my mother for a quick bite:. They’re known more for their beef rolls and their BBH (bun bo hue…), but we both wanted just regular pho. The noodles are OK, the soup is pretty salty, and the portions are average. Their BBH was really good a year or 2 ago, but I haven’t tried it in a while. I still come back once in a while, because it’s fast, clean, and convenient. Parking in the back or residential side streets.
Quite busy for a sunday night, majority of the tables were filled. Service was relatively fast and food was pretty decent compared to a lit of other places in the area.
Don't just order the usual rice dishes and pho then give a review guys. Order the Bo 7 mon, beef 7 ways. Absolutely delicious. Not alot of places do this. It's such a nice treat from the ordinary.
Do ever have déjà-vu? You know, Matrix-style where you are somewhere familiar but you swear you’ve never been there before? Song Huong is one of those places, apparently pholicious has been here thrice(!) before yet all present company can’t remember actually being here. So we are going to revisit and review anew to see if they are as good as pholicious felt it was before!
Vietnamese is my favorite food, and I go out to eat in as often as I can. I recently moved here and this was one of the first Vietnamese I ate, it is still one of my tops. I love the pho here as well as the chicken or beef vermicelli bowls. Very flavorful and yummy. Takeout is quick! The restaurant itself is quite large and there is always seating available. Service is good.
Best deal for rice dishes so far. $6.95 with tax for the lemongrass chicken or pork chop rice dish, with good quality. The pork chop was cooked perfectly without being too dry and tough. The chicken comes with bone so some people might find it a hassle to eat them. I get a bit thirsty after the meal but that's expected from most Vietnamese food. I will be back to try their noodle.
Great food for decent price. Always a go-to for pho when in this area because of how generous the portions are. Sometimes it's enough to feed for 2!
