Ramen, no complaints here. Arrived at noon, but friends were there slightly ahead of time to grab a table. Very busy. Had the gomoku ramen. Nice flavored broth (mild, and not salty). Pork was tasty -- almost sweet. One lonely tempura shrimp, greasy, but quite yummy. Good-sized portions, all under $8. What's to complain about?!? I'll come again.
Decent for the Money. I have been coming here for probably close to 20 years. The prices haven't increased much in that period of time.
The food is decent, and I've always ordered the Chicken Teriyaki Don. Sometimes I also get the deep fried pork wontons.
The service is quick at lunchtime. Sometimes too quick. They try and gear themselves to handle the office lunch crowd so they want to get you seated and served in about 10 minutes, and out the door in another 15-20.
Sometimes this is good, but sometimes- like today- it's bad.
It's bad because the waitress forgets half your food order.
I'd still go back. Cheap prices, good portion sizes.
Good curry. Try the curry Ebi fried rice. Comes with soup and sprouts. Seating can be cramped but food is good. Decent prices.
