Awesome place to sit and relax with great food, and I wish I could have sampled the beer but we had a long drive still ahead of us. The staff were most gracious and helpful, the food was great, and the location was phenomenal. Perfect place picked by my better half!
Everything was amazing! The sirloin burger was the best burger I’ve had in a long time, the right amount of seasoning and juiciness. The compressed watermelon was a fantastic appetizer and loved the poutine!
What a fantastic place... we went there for lunch after a long walk in the park. They have great specialised beers and mouthwatering dishes.
We were there at happy hour time so it turned out to be very economical. I believe this is one of the best restaurants in stanley park with great view and comfortable seating arrangements
Great service. Good prices. The fried half chicken dinner however almost tasted like it was leftover from the night before. Also not a huge fan of the fish and chips with Panko crumbs...the breading peeled off the fish as I ate it. Fresh cod would have been better in a more traditional "batter."
Also not big on the fried capers that come on a few of their dishes which look and feel like roasted flies.
Honestly this could easily be a 5 - the location, the atmosphere and layout - very easy, very good. Great service and a great place for lunch in the park - everyone enjoyed their meal from seafood chowder to ravioli and burgers - yep plastic chairs outside are shabby but the rest is good - fire and comfy chairs inside. The 4.5 is simply due to its simplicity - oh and great music at a good volume level.
Beautiful sunny Saturday on the patio in Vancouver. The west coast chowder is great and the burger is delicious. Service is relaxed, and could use improved chairs instead of plastic.
Amazing Burgers!. This place has amazing burgers!! Seriously, one of the best I've ever had! My husband got the chipotle and I got the classic and we were both extremely pleased. The burger was juicey and flavorful and was a very decent size! And the yam fries are totally worth the extra two dollars - they had so much more flavor than the regular fries.
Since the burger was so awesome, we decided to give dessert a try. Unfortunately, their s'more brownie didn't do it for us. While the presentation was beautiful, the brownie was lacking. I prefer dense, fudgey brownies, but this was cakey and plain.
Better than it had to be. Four of us stopped for lunch and figured we were going to get just OK food due to the captive location. Then the server was friendly and the menu looked good. Our friends both had burgers, my wife had a chicken burger with poutine instead of fries and I had fish and chips. Our friends were happy with both the meat and bun for their burgers, the poutine was good, the chicken burger was very good and so was the fish and chips. It was better than we all expected.
Friendly staff (didn't open till 1, yet let us in at 12:15). Warm fire. Good food. Sister said the burger was delicious. When I inquired about gluten free they were able to offer menu options.
Expensive for what you get which is to be expected for food in the park, but it was quick and the cedar plank salmon was delightful.

Absolutely stunning atmosphere and dining experience. The location and grounds design is beautiful. Food quality is good, while price is a bit high. Well worth the experience on a sunny day.

This place is great and the patio is nice but the prices are high but the food and drink were good. Considering the location I think that’s fair as the food we ate was good. Service speed was decent and not super busy.
Lovely little bar!
I stopped by for a drink while I waited for friends to arrive to Malkin Bowl for a concert. They stayed open an hour or so after their original closing time to accommodate the concert goers.
My server was lovely! She was prompt and polite.
I sat on the outdoor patio and had a gorgeous view of the garden!
I ordered a yummy Caesar and some truffle parmesan fries. The fries were SO GOOD and crispy!

Food was definitely delicious. Staff was definitely very friendly and accommodating. One slight comment though. They should add more choices to their menu. It's quite limited. But the food we ordered was great. The burger, chicken wings, the salmon and the soup was awesome!
On a tour of the beautiful Stanley Park in Vancouver BC we Came Upon Stanley's Bar and Grill. Have a wonderful lunch with excellent food.
We enjoyed a fabulous lunch at Stanley's after a nice morning of touring the park.
Top marks all around from the lovely and courteous staff to the setting and vibe to the food and drink. The manager and staff were ever so kind to allow me to take home the "Yellow Dog" glass from my craft beer as that was what we called our wonderful Wheaten Terrier who recently passed away. What a truly great experience!
The setting on an island with the ocean air and mountainous scenery is absolutely stunning. The extremely friendly and helpful staff making this exceptional dining experience second to none. The food is excellent, if you are looking for a nice soup, the perfect crispy hand cut fries and a burger, this is a great spot.
