I've been to Viet Sub a few times now and I've never been disappointed by the food. It is a hole in the wall with sitting for under six people. Family run, and has a cozy vibe to it.
Their price point, like most other Vietnamese places in the area is pretty reasonable. You can get a stomach full in under $10 with a Bahn Mi and a salad roll. I especially like their sriracha mayo sauce which you can pour over anything on the menu.
I love Vietnamese subs, so I had to give this place a try. You cant get a decent size sub, with a warm toasty bun and juicy meats for $4.99! I’ve gone to other places where what you get is smaller and quality isn’t as good for maybe a dollar less, but of course I would rather pay a bit more for an actual good sub! For sure a great place to stop by if your looking for a quick, cheap but good eat!
I was in the mood for noodle soup so I decided to drop by here to try their pho since it has very good review. My first impression is it is very tiny restaurant with very limited seats. I ordered beef balls pho, shrimp salad roll and special sub to go. The customer service is very friendly and attentive so that’s a bonus and you rarely see very friendly customer service at Vietnamese restaurants. The pho was average and salad roll was actually one roll cut in half. The salad roll was bigger than other restaurants. I ate the sub at night and it was very different from other Vietnamese subs. The meat tasted completely different but it was lots of generous stuffing. I like their Vietnamese mayonnaise but didn’t necessarily like their other mayo sauce. It was decent sub but not authentic typical Vietnamese sub.
My rating:
Customer service 4.5
Pho 3.0
Salad roll 3.5
Sub 3.5
