The staff are always so friendly and welcoming when you walk in the doors� the food is amazing no matter what you choose, ( I've never tried something I didn't love and have again) and it's great for a quick and taisty lunch, ( they have really great dine in lunch specials ) OR a start to a fun date night downtown � I also recommend trying the wine samples they do... I think its called wine flights maybe? I feel its obvious the staff enjoys working there and it adds to experiance when you can look around and see people actually like where they are�
PS. The Stephanie is extra good if you are down with adding olives! True story�

Ok best food spot in St.Johns. I’ve tried a lot spots in this city but by far this is the best food, pasta, pizza spot hands down! I’m from Toronto and trust me I know good food especially when it comes to pizza and pasta, we got a lot back in Toronto. That being said this is up there. We had a margarita pizza with half pepperoni. The Pizza’s crust is so thin and soft, the pepperoni curls up and the sauce tastes amazing. We also had their rigatoni bolognese pasta, the pasta tasted home made and fresh, the sauce was just delicious. We also had the tiramisu for dessert, it was the perfect balance of coffee and cream. It was not over powering and tasted great. The environment is cute and romantic. If you are coming here on a date it’s a solid spot. Price is pretty fair and the service is quite amazing.
Lovely night out for our anniversary. Lovely staff and food. Cozy warm atmosphere and the temperature was just so. Really gave the Christmas/winter vibe. My bfs first time there and he love it! Won’t be our last!:) also loved our server! (Can’t remember her name!)

The best one I've ever had.
We've had the one with honey/prosciutto and one with blue cheese & mushrooms. Both were very tasty.
You can really feel the authenticity from Italia. The pizzas are cooked in a wood oven which is great. The incredients on the pizzas are sparse which makes every bite taste different. The cooks seemed to be having fun and if you're seating at the bar, you can watch the preparation.
We didn't try their pasta but they looked freshly made.

Edit. I went again to try their pastas and wow. It was DELICIOUS. I had the rigatoni with the lemon ricotta (chef's kiss). LOVE this place.
I absolutely loved the pizza! It is my favourite that I’ve ever had. Highly recommended for sure! My boyfriend had pasta there and he loved it as well. I got the Margarita with added Pepperoni and I absolutely fell in love with it. It’s so delicious, juicy and full of flavour.

What a great experience! I think maybe the best Italian thin crust pizza I've had. It was fun watching them make it and cook it in the wood fired oven. The atmosphere was fun, great decor with Italian theme, high ceilings, Vespa scooters, etc.
Service was friendly and professional. Can't go wrong with any of the choices. There's no thick greasy meat lovers here, all light, crispy, with authentic Italian ingredients.
Had Italian wine and sodas, and desserts like Nutella pizza, chocolate mousse, Lemoncello torte, and of course gellato.
Recommended, would definitely go back.

A place truly deserving of 5 Stars.
I had the pleasure of eating at Piatto Pizzeria. When we first took our seats the staff kindly asked for our drinks right away and got us some waters immediately. We looked over the menu and placed our order. Shortly after our arancini arrived (see photo) which were absolutely delicious. After having the arancini I finished my water expecting to then later call over the wait staff for a refill. To my pleasant surprise they filled my glass back up shortly after.
A few minutes later and we had our entree. I ordered the Siciliana (see photo) pizza, my significant other ordered the Carbonara di Spinaci (see photo). Both dishes were phenomenal. The pizza, cooked to perfection in the wood fire oven. The sauce had a beautiful balance of natural sweetness and tang. Cheese and toppings tasted fresh. Finally to tie it all together was the dough.
The pasta was even more impressive with its great combination of flavors.
Now the food was amazing, but the most impressive thing about Piatto was the wait staff. They filled our waters right away, got new cutlery when they took away our fork from the appetizer (typically staff forgets), and to top it all off the table across from us was trying to take a group photo at the table and the waitress asked if they would like her to take the photo of the group so everyone could be in it.
Truly an amazing place, I look forward to eating here again
The pizza was delicious, the staff is kind, and the atmosphere is very nice with the open kitchen area and the dim lighting & candles. Would recommend booking though as it can get very busy especially on the weekends. The bathroom is very clean too.
Wow. Absolutely amazing pizza. The vegetables were fresh and juicy, the crust was just the right combination of crispy and chewy, and the cheese-to-sauce ratio was smack dab in the Goldilocks zone. If I could ask for one thing, it would be the option for a bigger pizza, but I suspect that would compromise the near-perfection on offer.
Our waitress was thoughtful and attentive: we told her my dad has a dairy allergy and when my mom got soup with feta on the side, the waitress let us know that it was mixed into the soup base as well, in case she wanted to share.
The atmosphere was posh, with a great wine, beer, and cocktail selection to complement their stand-out menu. Perfect place for a date!
This place was great. The atmosphere was funky without being pretentious. The guys making the pizza would throw the dough up the in the air as they were making it, which was fun to watch and everything was made in a real wood burning stove.
We had the meatballs and the Siciliana pizza and both were amazing! The marinara sauce on the meatballs was clear made from scratch and was full of flavour. The pizza was so good I caught myself making yummy noises out loud! Friendly service and reasonably prices. Would go again. Definitely recommend!
Best pizza ever! Waiter was very efficient. We ate outside and traffic was busy so the exhaust from cars was not great, but the food made up for it.
