Well my lady chose to NOT let me know where we were going to celebrate?? me getting another year older last Thursday although she had been here previously and we had spoken about it a few times. There is no way I can truthfully describe just how delightful the experience was dining here. Yes, having her with me was superb as was the fact she knew what a fondue was all about. I had heard of them but not a clue as to how to enjoy them. Anyhow, I wish I could have written the name of the server down as he was almost the highlight of the evening with his humor, and his making sure each and everything was just to our liking. In my opinion, this is a Special Occasion place rather than a " Oh Gee it's Thursday, or Monday, let's go". No make this a Special Place and know like I do that we will be back and I am quite sure You will return as well. Maybe he will flambe the chocolate for You as well. WELL worth the time to relax and enjoy. Don't think You must wait for Your next getting older special day, Treat Yourself and Your Somebody Special.
Great. Excellent service, good portions, and very individual and unique dining room. I really love fondue now and will, be trying it at home.
Great food, nice evening. The service was fantastic, great food. I love to fondue and this was great. Very reasonably priced compared to other fondue restaurants we have gone to. Highly recommended.
Great place for a first date. Went their on a first date. We sat for 4 hours and we thoroughly entertained the whole time. The server was great , the atmosphere and food made for a great evening.
Simply amazing evening. This restaurant is clearly my new favorite!! Amazing service, delicious and visually pleasing food, I felt so welcome and taken care of. The evening was shared be a friend and I, with us partaking in the Swiss cheese fondue and milk chocolate coconut fondue for dessert. My tastebuds loved every minute!!! Such a pleasant evening of visiting and enjoying such a tasteful treat. I will quickly come back, and invite others to join me!!! Tom is such a gracious and generous host - Thank you again for such an amazing evening!!
Nice night out. We go to UFONDUE for all our special occasions and when friends come in from out of town. The service is the best in the city and we have always had a great time and experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone to anyone that wants a nice unique e ending out.
Really Neat. Really excellent service, lots of food, Cheese fondue is awesome. They always get it right, we always leave full and they have 2 of the best servers in the city. You won't be disappointed. Allow for a few hours and you have to go hungry or you will never have room for the Chocolate Fondue.
Best in Saskatoon!. The Upstairs and Carver's were the highlight of our trip. Our service was great, we laughed the whole time. The food was great value (incredible cheese fondue). The wine was the cheapest I have ever seen at a high end restaurant. Our kids just loved the ceiling and the server. We will be back next time we are in Saskatoon.
Really neat. This was a great experience. The servers were friendly and ran everywhere. We went with 4 people and it took about 2.5 hours. The time just flew by as we were always doing something. The ceiling , music and atmosphere was truly unique and comfortable. We saw a few reviews mentioning not enough food, which was not the case in our situation, as we had lots of unbeaten food at each stage of the fondue. Our server explained that the way it works everyone gets the exact same and they bring up extra portions of certain meats and unlimited potatoes, vegetables and fruit for the chocolate. Some people are just never happy and feel the need to whine about things. This place is highly recommended and we will be returning.
Seriously the best thing I've ever eaten. Was a great experience despite being told to expect to wait for your food & leave hungry it was to quite the contrary! We left so full and the bill for 2 people was very reasonable compared to any other dining establishments! I'll definitely be returning & telling everyone about how great it was. The bacon cheddar fondue was the best cheese concoction I've ever tasted, meats on the hot rock was a new experience and the flaming turtle chocolate really was everything it was lived up to! Yum, quick & so full! Very happy with my experience!
We stopped by at this place for lunch recently and our experience was great! Our server was very attentive and served us very well during the visit. I had one of their pizza and the soup and it was tasty and filling! Price was generous and their location is conveniently located across Midtown.
Absolutely amazing gluten free eatery! Having everything be gluten free is such a nice change for a celiac to find. The service was awesome, thanks Jonah! The chicken fig pizza was perfect and the chicken bowl was awesome, for sure will be coming back, especially for the cool cocktails! Thanks guys :)
On our impromptu roadtrip to Saskatoon, this was our first stop and we were impressed! Beautiful ambience, wonderful food and lovely host! The best organic, locally sourced ingredients served with so much love! The awesome part is the overall experience. Its rare to find balance between fine dining, right ambiance, taste and health, somehow these guys have it perfectly nailed! Must try!
Best brunch I've had in YEARS. Fresh ingredients, great presentation, ridiculously delicious. Organic eggs, gluten free bread, super boary boar bacon. Perfect meal!
Absolutely loved Leyda's cafe! Had brunch there on Sunday morning and the menu was amazing, plenty of plant based and organic options, mimosas(which seems a little challenging to find apparently), the presentation is impressive, the staff is very friendly and the vibe of the place is very relaxing and enjoyable. Good prices too. Definitely going back soon!!
I was by myself and wanted good quality real food, meat and vegetables and low carb. I'm rarely on Saskatoon and after wandering around a bit and dismissing several options, I found myself on the other side of Midtown, parked and walked. Within 10 feet I got asked for spare change (who carries change anymore?) but no worries, I never feel threatened or insecure with that.
Across the street I spotted a restaurant announcing "gluten free / whole food" and something else which I don't remember. I'm in! I was not disappointed. The place had a beautiful open environment and includes a large patio. I chose to sit inside. I ordered coffee, which, to my surprise, was French press. For my light and late lunch I chose calamari which... well I should let the photo tell you, came beautifully presented with a pile of steamed kale, lemon wedge, sesame seeds and a peach? jam with julienned carrots and onions all served on top a plate of black slate. I ate every morsel!
