Fuddruckers is an American fast casual, franchised restaurant chain that specializes in hamburgers. There are so many franchised restaurants in Canada. The one we’ve been is located on 8th Street East Saskatoon. It was my first time having food at this place. We arrived the restaurant around 8 pm. Even though it had already passed dinner time, there are still lots of customers having food at the restaurant.
Environment: Fuddruckers is a large size restaurant. Lots of tables inside the restaurants, which is a good place to hold a party. People can order their food first at the front of the restaurant. Then, they can find the seat inside. There are many seats and tables there, so people don’t need to worry about to find a place to sit.
Service: The restaurant has only a few servers around customers. They don’t serve drinks and food. They are doing the cleaning after people eat. They cleaned the table very fast. The people who worked at the front were nice and friendly. If you have any misunderstanding of the menu, they will explain to you.
Food/Price: We ordered four different sizes of burger meat patties with different sides. Three of us ordered pop drinks and my boyfriend had a milkshake. This place is a very interesting. You will get your drinks and food by yourself. So, after we ordered the food, the people who took the order, gave us an electronic number. Once our food (Burger Meat Patties) ready, the number will turn on to remind us. After 10 ~ 15 mins waiting, our food was finally ready. We picked up our burgers first and then went to the topping section to get toppings. We could pick anything we want. The Burger meat patties were fresh and well cooked, but they were less flavors. After we added toppings, they were tasted decent. The prices of the food were a little bit expensive. In summary, It was a unique experience for me.
Great family dining experience. I always get the taco salad and a chocolate milkshake. Their pies are great too. It's a long standing Saskatoon establishment and so happy they are still thriving!
The food here really hits the spot. It's nothing extraordinary, but you know going in that you're not getting a gourmet meal. Burgers are awesome. Last time I had the buffalo chicken sandwich and it was pretty good (think I'll stick to the burgers though from now on). Good fries, tasty & fresh baked goods, and root beer floats made with Dad's root beer (!!). The cheese sauce though is the real winner for me here! It gets really busy here on weekends, I usually try to go between 4-5pm on a weekday to beat the supper rush and the huge line.
Been coming here since I was very young. The food isn't amazing but it's still tasty with a fun atmosphere and a good selection of food. The have a separate dessert counter and toppings bar where you can load your basket with toppings. Don't be surprised if there's a line out the door. It's definitely a local favourite! Their pies and milkshakes are delicious.
Haven't been here since they first opened. Three of us came for lunch. Arrived just after 1. It was busy.. contemplated leaving as we didn't think there was a table. I had 1/3 mushroom Swiss, fries with a side of grave. Kid had poutine. Spouse had buffalo chicken burger with fries.
Kid enjoyed the poutine. Appeared to have good cheese/gravy ratio.
My burger had tons of caramelized onions and mushrooms (came on the side). I was impressed. I didn't get any fixings except jalapeño and plain cheese sauce, for the fries too. Yum. Though next time would opt for 1/4 pound burger.
Spouse said chicken burger said it was ok. But was breaded therefore got soggy from the buffalo sauce. The chicken was quite small and bun too large. Said all you could really taste was sauce and bun.
Next visit I think I'd wait until after the rush though.
I've been coming here since I was little and the food has never changed! The burgers and fries are always made fresh right when you order them, and their milkshakes and cinnamon buns can't be beat. My dad loves getting the 1 pound burger when he is really hungry- it's massive! They have so many toppings and sauces to choose from as well. Will continue coming back!
This place has the best gluten free hamburgers! The gluten free bun is soft and light, unlike lots of others I've tried. The best part about the restaurant is the toppings bar. So much fun and interactive. Love eating here!
Best Burgers in Saskatoon. Love this place so much. Great place to visit with friends or family! I really love their milkshakes too! Fresh Buns = Fresh Burgers.
I spent years unable to eat burgers in restaurants (long story short they would gross me out!) but Fudds helped me overcome that in no time! One of my favourite places, for sure! I've had burger, chicken burger, chili and Caesar salad here and I was never unhappy with what I ordered. I miss the potato wedges though, they were so delicious. I could eat here every week!
Fudds is a good place to get a nice, big burger without breaking the bank. It was so huge I could barely finish it! All the staff were really nice and happy. Fuddruckers is excellent at making a traditional, no fuss burger. The restaurant is also an experience to eat in!
Awesome family friendly place. Everything seems to be fresh and you have flexibility to add what you want to the burger. Would describe as hybrid fast food/family restaurant where you order first and then sit at your table. They buzz you for pickup of burger and milkshakes are delivered. Combo price generally falls between $15-$20.
A classic case of getting what one pays for: the food is always delicious. Every time I have attended, the whole dining area is jam-packed. I enjoy the dress-your-own burger set up, providing the finest degree of customizability. Their milkshakes are simply irresistible, not only filling the glass, but a little bit extra comes in a metal cup!
Ordered to go the bacon and cheese burger as well as the bison burger with a side or fries and gravy. Burgers were on the larger side and tasted great. I would recommend eating in, as there was quite a bit of packaging with a take out order. The fries were nice and crisp. However they forgot my gravy.
Easily the best place I visited for food while in Saskatoon!
The burgers are consistently good quality. Although the meat isn't incredibly seasoned, it's a patty that can be topped to anyone's tastes. With a wide variety of toppings, both grilled (bacon, onion rings, etc.) and a self-service bar for lettuce, onions, tomato, etc. I doubt anyone could come here and not find something to eat.
The atmosphere is incredible, relaxed and calm, with an air of the good old days of food service.
The bakery is easily one of the best places to pick up pies in Saskatoon, to the point where I think I was buying a pie a week. That can't be good for my figure...
And the pricing is spectacularly cheap. For less than a 20 dollar bill, you can get a significant, filling meal and a bottomless drink/a beer.
Played mini golf and ate in the diner the other day. My wife and I both had the grilled chicken burgers and shakes. It was a struggle to finish them because the portions were so big and very tasty, in fact it might have been one of the best grilled chicken burgers we've ever had. It's always very busy, but that speaks to how good it is. I'd definitely eat here again.
Love this place! Haven't been in a long while. Just as awesome as I remember. Had the gluten free bun with my burger and it was great! The pump jalapeño cheese y'all, come on🤤. If you have never been, you gotta! Can't wait for my next visit. Delicious, organized, clean, and fun. Great place 👌 👍
Absolutely amazing! One of the best burgers I have ever eaten! I go whenever I could.
I am celiac (Gluten allergy), the Burgers I have had here don't compare quality wise or cost wise to any other burger that I have had. You don't wait forever but they don't treat the food like a McD assembly line. Would recommend if you are passing by. Unfortunately there are only like 3 in Canada.
