Matcha Crepe cake is awesome! It is not too sweet, and with a strong flavor of matcha. If you are a matcha lover, you must have a try! The only problem is that the room is too crowded.

• there is no parking around the restaurant but there is across the street. You might have to check out the stores across the street to save $ for parking or otherwise pay parking where Sheraton hotel is
• this is a very small place, its perfect for 2 people either meeting up with your bff or partner
• not a lot of sweet desserts to choose from but I'm sure it will satisfy your palate
• share a piece or 2
• Debit or cash if less than $15, more than that credit card ok

The place is small but neatly decorated. I went near closing so there wasn't a lot of people. If you're looking for high tea service in Richmond, this is one of the few choices outside of Vancouver and it's not bad. You need to tell them beforehand if you want high tea service so they can prepare for you. Had the matcha opera cake, the matcha flavor was very strong. I'd be interested to try their macarons and other desserts next time.

It was national macaron day and i decided to try more than one place, my first stop was L'Opera Patisserie and it did not disappoint! They had several flavours and all had the perfect bite and texture. The packaging was also adorable which never hurts (; . My one minor complaint is that they are a bit smaller than the average macaron size and so they are a bit more pricey, but still way more worth than a few other places I've tried in vancouver!

I was searching for high tea restaurant in richmond and didn't know there's one near richmond center so I came here with my sister. The high tea is $45 per person. The set looks very nice. It's too bad they don't have vegetarian ones. Everything taste pretty good and its so cute.

Last weekend my friend and I decided to try out L'Opera Patisserie High Tea. I've heard mixed reviews about this place so I really didn't know what to expect here. Their location is part of the Marriot hotel and is across from Mui Garden in Richmond. They have parking in the back, so take a look there before you drive up to the parkade. My friend and I didn't know so we drove up the parkade and parked relatively far. We had to cut through the hotel in order to exit out in to the main road until we reached their little cafe.  Also, the parkade is not free... so I think we paid like 6 dollars for 2 hour parking. Their interior is extremely small. The tables were pretty close to one another and walking space is very limited. Nonetheless, the interior decor is extremely cute. To see more of the interior, watch our youtube video:

Do yourself a favour and order the macarons! We are not the biggest macaron fans, but the macarons here are outstanding! However they are a little pricey ($2 a piece), but totally worth it. The strawberries and cream and the apricot passionfruit were the highlights! We also ordered the cabana pastry, even better than the macarons. The matcha cake was average at best, we wouldn't recommend it. We will definitely be back and will try the high tea.

The macarons here are absolutely delicious. I recently received a box of size macarons in assortments and they are just too good to share! The interior is so very cute and cozy, the tables are decorated with adorable high tea plates, cups, teacups and cutlery. Stepping into this place is like stepping into a princess's tea room. The texture of the macaron is nice, I like that the filling is not too sweet and it was nice and light, and the flavour is really sharp and on point. When you bite into the macaron, it kind of bounces back and you can really taste the fresh almond taste. The instructions on the box says to leave them at room temperature for a bit before consuming which I think does make a difference from when you first remove them from the fridge. I would recommend the salted caramel, green tea and the berry one.

AWESOME!!  Love this place!!  I can't believe there's a real pastry shop in such an inconspicuous location. I've told soooooo many people about this place.  All of their cakes are divine!  Their croissants are the BEST croissants I've ever had!  They are totally worth the price!!!  Their macarons are a bit on the pricey side for the price, but I like that the flavours aren't artificial and they don't make the macarons some wacky, unnatural colour. So many other shops (even the high end ones) used so much artificial colouring and the macarons are so saturated in some disgustingly bright colour.  L'Opera does it right!!  Highly recommended!!!

Last week my friend and I had a great high tea experience. It was my birthday week so this was the present I got from her. We always wanted to try their high tea here but it’s always full booked. The place might be small but inside the interior was very elegant and beautiful. People who works here were very hospitable and gave us a very good service.

Came here last summer, in a nutshell - food is decent (great presentation, mediocre in taste) - price is fair - service is okay The food presentation is better than most hightea places in my opinion, the chef put quite amount of thought into each dish (from the edible spoon, ice ring, for the seafood, flamingo / swan puff...). The dining environment is great, my girlfriend enjoyed the overall dining experience, this place worth the second time visit and see what else seasonal menu is available.

Back for High Tea again to celebrate a friend’s birthday and it was absolutely perfect as always. This year’s Winter menu was delicious. Every time I see their menu it blows my mind what they can do. I challenge anyone to find such a perfectly prepared lamb lollipop at any other High Tea menu. The High Tea experience is basically a luxurious multi-course tasting menu. The atmosphere is fantastic, from the decor to the table setting all super adorable. Best High Tea experience in Vancouver.

Their $55 high tea set is the best high tea you can get in Vancouver! It's pricey but so worth it as you can taste the effort that goes into every single item. They always have super unique ingredients like octopus, lobster, scallop, escargot...etc. Make sure to call ahead and book! Best money you'll ever spend.

This place has it's own characteristic, just like a small cafe in Paris. It's not new and modern but it has a strong French vibe. Their cakes are excellent, many layers of taste and look very pretty! We opt to dine in and we enjoyed every bit of the cake. However, the lady at the cashier forgot to bring us water (hence, 1 star deducted). Saw many people coming in and out to buy macaroons, but I am never a fan of macaroons so I didn't try

Came here for 1 year anniversary with the GF. The menu was excellent. This is my 3rd HighTea and by far the best. Enjoyed the Lamb. Only things I thought could use more work, the oysters could be crispy. Everything else was very good.

Nice cozy little tea place, very friendly service. Seems like it's family run. Because the menu items are so good, this place is quite polular and can be quite busy. Strongly recommend making a reservation, the place is TINY and doesn't seat many. Definitely worth it though. Would definitely come back :)

My first time at this small pastry restaurant, recommended by others. It’s small - half a dozen or so small tables. There was a display of sweet pastries which we by-passed, going straight to the several types of croissants. Of course, we had heard of the salted duck egg yolk one. It was delicious, flaky, crunchy and oozing of egg yolk. My favourite, though, was the masago croissant. It had just the right amount of fish roe. I had the Mediterranean Rooibos tea with mine. I checked out the high tea menu and will definitely return.
