Dinner on Sunday 28.5.17 at Le Saint-Amour was awesome. Vous avez ete servi par Claudine was fantastic including recommending a Baco Noir wine from Canada (Baco Noir is a hybrid red wine grape created at the beginning of the 20th century by French hybridizer, Francois Baco. It is a crossing Folle blanche (a white wine grape from France) and an a mystery red wine grape of the Vitis riparia variety found in North America. Baco Noir Wine). I had "Ginger and lemongrass seafood broth - Nordic shrimps and fresh mussels bottarga, Furikake rice chip" followed by "Magdalene Island sea scallop and Turlo farm pork - roasted scallops, braised and grilled pork belly fregula sarda risotto style with summer vegetables". For dessert - "The Chocolaty hot choclate mousse fresh fruits and roasted hazelnuts vanilla ice cream.

Sans le moindre doute le meilleur restaurant à Quebec. Le service est impeccable. Le menu gastronomique nous fait vivre une expérience gustative mémorable. L’endroit rêvé pour un souper romantique ;)
Love the food and the service. We were worried that we didn’t bring any fancy clothes with us on our short trip to QC plus with a young toddler they won’t serve us. I called and they said they have no dress code. The staff are all nice and friendly, feels like a family restaurant vibe. The food from the presentation to the taste are superb.
This is a place where you would want to come back whenever you feel to spurge for a special occasion. The dinning time is long but it was good that we didn’t feel rushed and we took the time to enjoy the meal and really taste the favor profile.
One minor criticism is that when we first arrived they put us in a separate room. So two occasions our request has been forgotten and we have to remind them about the order. They don’t have assigned servers but multiple people come to serve you at random so maybe there’s some communication gaps. For a fine dining restaurant that might be something they want to look into.
The tasting menu was versatile, creative and a fantastic experience. The setting in the inside garden was beautiful too. Only downside was that we had informed them that it was a special occasion as we were celebrating my partner’s birthday and yet nothing special was done. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our experience.
Fantastic food and atmosphere. The Foie Gras is simply amazing. We tried the seared and Foie Gras and the innovative one(picture 1&2), both of them are breathtaking.
Had a very pleasant dinner, the environment, food and service are all amazing! Will definitely visit again next time in Quebec.
We had a great experience, the staff is super nice and they were quick to Service as soon as we came in the door. There was a delay with some of our food and they gave us a and champagne on the house. The food was absolutely delicious. I couldn't ask for better service! 👍🏽😊
This was my second time at this masterpiece of a restaurant and to celebrate a very special occasion. To begin with the staff makes you feel completely at home and is very patient while catering to you.
This place can slow down the time especially in its garden seating area and make you forget about the world. And not to forget you are in the picturesque walled city.
Thé foie gras experience is one of a kind and stands out vs other places in the city. Every morsel is worth savouring and an experience to cherish.
Not every day you are dining at the finest restaurant in Quebec City!
This restaurant is on par with a Michelin star restaurant. The 7-course tasting menu (called a discovery menu with them) is fantastic and filling. Their 60-page wine menu is impressive, and the cocktails have as much love and care as the dishes. The ambiance in the garden area is beautiful, transporting you across the ocean to Europe. The service was a little slow, but that is on par with our other experiences across Canada. It was still friendly, attentive, and guiding, though.
