We had the Shawarma plate for lunch and it was excellent. The Baklava is the best I've ever tasted. A little extra cinnamon, I think. We took some extra back to our room for later. The owner is very attentive and friendly as is the rest of the staff.
Outstanding food and service! Best baclava we’ve ever had. Will make an effort to visit every time we’re in Quebec.
I visited this restaurant today and the food was simply amazing. Loved the taste of everything. In the end the owner gave my 6 year old 3 pieces baklava for free. She loves it, and when i tried i love it too. Simply delicious 🤤
Overall experience was wonderful and I’d definitely recommend this place.
The atmosphere of Bachir restaurant in the center of Quebec was perfect. A small cozy restaurant with Arabic music and also some chairs outside to sit and enjoy the summer/spring vibes.
The staffs were very polite and friendly.
Regarding the food, I ordered Libanaise, and my friend ordered a vegetarian dish. You can see the full menu and prices in the pictures. The vegetarian dish is almost vegan so these people can enjoy this restaurant. The food was fresh and fantastic. I thought the dish would be spicy, but it wasn't. In the end, they also gave us Baklawa (dessert).
All in all, I highly recommend this restaurant for an enjoyable evening.
Beautiful gem in Quebec-City! Very quaint restaurant where the owner - Louis - serves you with kindness and attentiveness. The admirable spot on near Quartier Street on Boul René Levesque is visited by many faithful clients who keep coming back. The meals are fresh and well cooked. The place is well lit and offers spacious seating.
The falafel is a delight. The smell is ravishing and the taste is unique. It is fresh and unlike many other ones, the mouth-side bites are full of flavour that Louis takes time to cook to a delightful taste.
This is a remarkable spot to take time for in Quebec-City!
Nice halal food with very friendly service. We ordered the shish tawook (which is basically chicken shawerma strips) platter, the beef shawerma platter and the combo. Everything was good, however, since we've eaten Middle Eastern, Arabic, Lebanese cuisine for all of our life, we would rate this halal Arabic cuisine joint as a 3 for the food (when compared to other amazing Lebanese joints) but definitely 5 for the friendly service, so overall a 4. Both the gentlemen working here are very sweet and their service was amazing. They even treated us to their famous baklava which truly is one of the best we've had. We do recommend Bachir to everyone looking for a good, completely halal place to eat.
Baklava is a must! They gave it for free when we were leaving, I truly wish we ate it at the time so i can order more to take home - Montreal.
The food was quite delicious, but I honestly expected more from the falafel considering all the positive reviews I’ve seen about this restaurant.
One of the most friendliest and hospitable service I've experienced. Owner would go out of his way to talk to you and make you feel welcome.
As for the food, I never really had Lebanese food before, but after eating here twice, I'm definitely sold. Price is in acceptable range especially for the quality and authenticity. The place needs to charge a little bit more to stay open, so its acceptable for me.
I would definitely find time to visit and eat here whenever I'm in Quebec City.
The food was just what hoped it would be: fresh, with great tastes and aromas. The portions were healthy. I had the Combo plate, which I enjoyed very much. The humus was good. The baklava was succulent and tasty. Bachir was the best food we had while visiting Quebec.
Their take out containers were organized, clean and convenient for our walk to a nearby park for a picnic.
The interior is pleasant and the lovely smells of the kitchen are ever present. Plus they have some fun posters on the walls.
