I love this place. I always feel like a smug rich environmental person when I walk the aisles pushing a cart. OK. So maybe I'm a wee bit smug, a smidge environmental, for sure not rich.
I suppose that I am supposed to write about the cooked food, since it is zomato.
Love it! There's two area that you can sit and eat. Inside where's there's a TV playing cp24 or outside on the patio where you can eat al fresco!
They have a large number of Cooked food options. Kinda expensive (OK, not kinda) but great quality and delicious.
They have buffet islands where you can build a meal. You have your choice of hot and cold. I love assembling what I call while food nachos. They have store made nacho chips that I top with grated cheese, spicy chunks pulled pork or beef ( depending on what's on offer that day), with store made guacamole. Yum!!! My friend normally assembles a quite delicious vegetable laden salad.
There's also a counter where you can buy prepared salads. My favourite is the beet and citrus. There's also a counter that you can buy pre made or custom sandwiches.
There's pizza, whole chicken, chicken pieces, etc...
There's a whole wall of cold drinks, pre packaged lunches, and they are licenced so you can enjoy a glass of wine or beer.
They also have a number of food events. Buck a shuck oysters, cheese night, corn roasts, etc. You'll always find me there!!
I was super duper impressed with the salad bar!! This was not only a paradise for detoxers but also anyone who wanted to stay fit by eating more raw and greenery. There were four full and long buffet-style counters that offered all types of different salads! You could choose a take-out box or a plastic green bowl (thereby saving 10 cents) and fill it up with whatever you wanted (salad bar or hot food selection). They price it by weight; $2.29 per 100 grams.
