My first time here today looking for home made hummus. I've found a large container for a great price. The man behind the counter, I presume the owner was very friendly. The store looked clean and smelled of yummy spices. The hummus is delicious, I'll be back for more! Eating it as I write this... going to get fat off of this hummus. 😁
This is a restaurant in a Middle Eastern grocery - very, very clean and new looking. The food in this casual establishment was amazing. The appetizers and meals were all top notch and the atmosphere is kind and laid back. Highly recommend!!
I highly recommend this local, family-run Mideast food mecca in North End Halifax. You can pick up supplies and unique ingredients for cooking and baking, eat delicious food at the cafe, or order a custom meal or dessert to go. For my mom’s 65th birthday celebration, I ordered $75 worth of baklava and it was perfection, with very generously sized pieces for more than 15 people (and beautifully crafted and presented). We will be ordering this again for special occasions!
This store now has a clean, well-lit restaurant at the back. The food is excellent: well flavoured with good sized portions. It is traditional ME food. The falafel wrap is superb! The gentlemen working there are very friendly. Service is fast. You can eat in or takeaway.
A friendly welcoming space with tasty food! Advise to get the salad with your food as otherwise it can be quite a carb fest!

We love this family run business. Their food is all fantastic. We keep going back whenever we are in Halifax. The only warning... bring cash or debit card. I think they also take e-transfer now.
Finally decided to check this place out and was not disappointed! Got the chicken shawarma and baklava. Both were absolutely delicious, very good portions and for a reasonable price. Ingredients are fresh. I will definitely be back

I absolutely find this my favourite take out food establishment that surpasses all. Freshly prepared with subtle flavours at very reasonable prices. Folks are very accommodating & polite. Best place also to but nuts, pita, nan & groceries to enhance or recreate this cuisine.
