My first time here today looking for home made hummus. I've found a large container for a great price. The man behind the counter, I presume the owner was very friendly. The store looked clean and smelled of yummy spices. The hummus is delicious, I'll be back for more! Eating it as I write this...
This is a restaurant in a Middle Eastern grocery - very, very clean and new looking. The food in this casual establishment was amazing. The appetizers and meals were all top notch and the atmosphere is kind and laid back. Highly recommend!!
I highly recommend this local, family-run Mideast food mecca in North End Halifax. You can pick up supplies and unique ingredients for cooking and baking, eat delicious food at the cafe, or order a custom meal or dessert to go. For my mom’s 65th birthday celebration, I ordered $75 worth of baklava
This store now has a clean, well-lit restaurant at the back. The food is excellent: well flavoured with good sized portions. It is traditional ME food. The falafel wrap is superb! The gentlemen working there are very friendly. Service is fast. You can eat in or takeaway.
A friendly welcoming space with tasty food! Advise to get the salad with your food as otherwise it can be quite a carb fest!

We love this family run business. Their food is all fantastic. We keep going back whenever we are in Halifax. The only warning... bring cash or debit card. I think they also take e-transfer now.
Finally decided to check this place out and was not disappointed! Got the chicken shawarma and baklava. Both were absolutely delicious, very good portions and for a reasonable price. Ingredients are fresh. I will definitely be back
I absolutely find this my favourite take out food establishment that surpasses all. Freshly prepared with subtle flavours at very reasonable prices. Folks are very accommodating & polite. Best place also to but nuts, pita, nan & groceries to enhance or recreate this cuisine.
Had the chicken shawarma wrap with a friend. Delicious, fresh, reasonably priced... The list goes on. Also, the gentleman running the restaurant was extremely kind and polite. Great option for something healthy and filling.

Outstanding food and service every time. The only place I trust for Mediterranean ingredients! The Chef in the Kitchen next door is so kind and has the largest array of amazing authentic take-home salads, shawarma, pies, and more all made from scratch!
I have had many falafel wraps in Vancouver, but this is the best on both coasts. All the food I have tried here has the touch gourmet cooking with just the right amount a spices. Very nice family that put their heart into what they cook.
I LOVE this place!!! Been there for a loooooong time, and never disappoints. You can get a TON of things there which are difficult to find elsewhere in Halifax, such as fresh, velvety-green almonds in season and yummy spices at nice prices. HIGHLY recommended for anyone who like Middle-Eastern food
This place is awesome!! The bulk spices section is fantastic. They have bulk nuts, feta, and an incredible array of Arabic foods that I otherwise haven't been able to find in Halifax. Also, 6 massive pita loaves for $2.50.
