We had the best fish and chips and donair pizza, extraordinary!!
One of my absolute favorite places to eat!!! The donair poutine is the best in the city by far and the staff are always friendly.

Consistently Hot + Tasty Greasy Spoon Food. I don't normally review takeout restaurants, but after several garlic finger cravings led me to the bland, doughy, cheeseless wasteland that many Halifax delivery spots seem to consider acceptable, I felt it necessary to mention this place.
Despite a couple name changes, this neighbourhood diner/pizza joint/grocery has been owned by the same family for years. The owner and staff are always friendly and inviting and the classic greasy spoon dishes are always served piping hot.
The menu consists of your classic pizza place fare: donairs, poutine, pizza, garlic fingers, fish & chips etc. -- along with a few mediterranean options thrown in the mix.
If you're looking for foodie pizza this isn't your place (check out Salvatore's) but if you have a hankering for takeout that is better than your average corner pizza joint then take a drive down to scenic Herring Cove and check them out. It's worth it.
I love the food here. Over the years I've become vegan, and their veggie pizza with olives and no cheese is dang delicious. Just loaded with fresh toppings. I don't even miss the cheese. They also have amazing desserts but I can't eat them anymore because I'm vegan.
The Chicken Caesar Salad was delicious! Very bite was crispy and savory!
Best donairs, fish is really good as well. Friendly owner/operator. It's definitely a great place to stop when you're out for a drive. He'll set up a table outside or eat inside during warmer times. The restaurant is closed on Sunday, and everyone needs a break.
Good local food. The donair plate is tasty. Inside it's small and simple with 4 small tables.
Donair poutine was to die for! So good. Staff were super busy yet still incredibly friendly. Highly recommend if you’re in the area. Great spot for the Hearing Cove community.
I always get the chicken Greek salad. The portion is crazy big. Loaded with grilled chicken. It is quite good and plentiful. The price you cannot beat. I also have tried the chicken ceaser. Delicious.
