Great pizza at great prices
This place makes great fish and chips. This place also makes a badass pizza and when you ask for extra cheese - they actually put it on the pizza not just the bill. The place seems family operated and they are very pleasant and polite.
Had there fish and chips for the first time today, the fries were delicious, there fish batter was delicious and nothing like I’ve had before, I make my own at home a lot as I am from a fishing community but this was different and I highly recommend you try it. My son loves his poutine, we have 3 take outs on our road and my son was impressed, the gravy was tasty and the fries were cooked perfectly. Try it out , you won’t be disappointed.
The fish and chips was a great portion at a good price (13 bucks for a 2 piece), it was crispy and fresh.

I do not normally eat fish, but took a chance after reading the reviews on Google. Sometimes reviewers have overall sh*tty taste in food or just low standards so when a random person called this the "best fish and chips " he's had in Halifax, I had doubts. But actually the fish and chips was really good, especially the fish. Was not expecting. Only thing I can say is the fries could use salt. But yeah good fish.
I was starving and wanted fish and chips so we stopped in because it was close (and open until 11pm, which is a huge plus.)
Prompt and friendly, it was a little spot but those always end up being good spots to eat.
I got the fish and chips which I immediately opened because It smelled great. It was a pretty classic fish and chips (right down to the brown paper which was a nice touch), I liked it. Fries were fries, again, it was just a classic and simple fish and chips which was exactly what I wanted.
My partner got a burger, also good! He said it was just a simple, well cooked burger (and inhaled it).
I'm more of a light and crispy battered fish fan, this was more dense so if that's a deal breaker you may not like the fish here, however it didn't deter me from eating it. If you like your food simple and "homey" it's a good spot.

This was a last minute decision mostly based on our location but we were not disappointed. It is a small place with 3 tables but those little, rustic placrs tend to have good food. We decided on the 2 piece fish and chips and added coleslaw. The cost was reasonable. The portion sizes of the fish were generous. The taste was great. The service was fabulous and friendly. He brought it right to the table for us. When I go back to Halifax, I will definitely go again.

GREAT fish n chips. Fries come wrapped in brown paper on a cardboard tray - ONLY WAY TO DELIVER FRIES. Fish is truly some of the best in the city. Ken used to deliver a burger n fries for like $5 - the 80s. He’s the man
I don't have 1 bad thing to say about Ken's. I may not eat from the seafood side but I do eat a lot of pizza & garlic fingers for the two 12 special . When I want something different, I ask for a lg. Donaire with the sauce on the side. Or a poutine. All the food I ate from there, I have enjoyed. The price of stuff is real good as well, that's another reason for coming back so often. 😋
