Had there fish and chips for the first time today, the fries were delicious, there fish batter was delicious and nothing like I’ve had before, I make my own at home a lot as I am from a fishing community but this was different and I highly recommend you try it. My son loves his poutine, we have 3 take outs on our road and my son was impressed, the gravy was tasty and the fries were cooked perfectly. Try it out , you won’t be disappointed.

I do not normally eat fish, but took a chance after reading the reviews on Google. Sometimes reviewers have overall sh*tty taste in food or just low standards so when a random person called this the "best fish and chips " he's had in Halifax, I had doubts. But actually the fish and chips was really good, especially the fish. Was not expecting. Only thing I can say is the fries could use salt. But yeah good fish.

I was starving and wanted fish and chips so we stopped in because it was close (and open until 11pm, which is a huge plus.)
Prompt and friendly, it was a little spot but those always end up being good spots to eat.
I got the fish and chips which I immediately opened because It smelled great. It was a pretty classic fish and chips (right down to the brown paper which was a nice touch), I liked it. Fries were fries, again, it was just a classic and simple fish and chips which was exactly what I wanted.
My partner got a burger, also good! He said it was just a simple, well cooked burger (and inhaled it).
I'm more of a light and crispy battered fish fan, this was more dense so if that's a deal breaker you may not like the fish here, however it didn't deter me from eating it. If you like your food simple and "homey" it's a good spot.
Really liked it and will be back!.

This was a last minute decision mostly based on our location but we were not disappointed. It is a small place with 3 tables but those little, rustic placrs tend to have good food. We decided on the 2 piece fish and chips and added coleslaw. The cost was reasonable. The portion sizes of the fish were generous. The taste was great. The service was fabulous and friendly. He brought it right to the table for us. When I go back to Halifax, I will definitely go again.

GREAT fish n chips. Fries come wrapped in brown paper on a cardboard tray - ONLY WAY TO DELIVER FRIES. Fish is truly some of the best in the city. Ken used to deliver a burger n fries for like $5 - the 80s. He’s the man

I don't have 1 bad thing to say about Ken's. I may not eat from the seafood side but I do eat a lot of pizza & garlic fingers for the two 12 special . When I want something different, I ask for a lg. Donaire with the sauce on the side. Or a poutine. All the food I ate from there, I have enjoyed. The price of stuff is real good as well, that's another reason for coming back so often. 😋

For over 25 years Ken's Seafood has held the title for the best fish &chips in Halifax, in my opinion. They never disappoint me , with anything on their menu. Their pizza , donairs, subs, are to be tried to be appreciated. Trust me you will never be disappointed.

Me and my family stopped in and the service was 10/10. Friendly and enjoyable. The food was 11/10. Next time I'm in Halifax I'll be stopping by forsure. Can't recommend enough.

Always good ! We order the cheeseburger platter to taste and small works with green olives . Also the fish is very good here . Great prices ,food is hot when delivered.we have been ordering here for years and never had bad food 🍲

Only stopped into Ken's seafood a few times. And, I never left disappointed. Very generous portions. They're large fries is enough to feed two people. I definitely recommend .

I am just finishing up my first Ken's pizza. It was awesome! I was looking to try something new and I find that little "mom and pops" always make the best pizza's.
Lots of toppings, very cheap price, great taste and really good dough. This phone number goes in my phone for keeps!
Went back a week later and it was just as good! I can't believe this place has been around for decades and I missed them.
One more time...they are consistent in their recipe. It doesn't change according to who's making it. If you love it, as I do, you can depend on it long term. I tried a new place recently and it paled in comparison to Ken's.
Just to update a year later, I am eating my 20th or more pizza from Ken's and still love it!

Best fish and chips and also pizza. My kids are grown now but used to get pizza a few times a week all through junior high and high school-it was worth it to them to walk up and down that big hill for it! We all still order from them regularly. Wonderful family business ❤️

The last time I was in here was 38 years ago. The more things change the more they stay the same. Great diner style fried Burger and fries combo. Friendly personable service with a relaxed atmosphere. Sadly I've never had the seafood or pizza. The place has a bit of a patina if you know what I mean but it's still a great place to grab a meal.

This place makes great fish and chips. This place also makes a badass pizza and when you ask for extra cheese - they actually put it on the pizza not just the bill. The place seems family operated and they are very pleasant and polite.
