This cozy Korean family restaurant truly brings local flavors to life. The Bogogi Soup, with its delightful sweetness, is a must-try. The fantastic service and warm atmosphere make me eager to visit again soon! 🌟
This place is fantastic! The food is absolutely amazing and our waitress was probably the best waitress we’ve ever had. We arrived around 6:15 and had our first dish (Japchae) within 20 minutes of going through the menu and ordering. They also gave us complimentary miso soup and it was excellent! We ordered the Tiger Roll to share as another appetizer and it was pretty great too. My girl had the Bibimbap and I had the Bulgogi and we were both super happy about our meals. But the best part of the whole dinner was the Bingsu, which is absolutely delicious and we will be going back often, even if it’s just for dessert! Thanks Arirang!
Good Koreans and Japanese food with lots of options available on the menu. We ordered a sushi set and a tofu soup. Both came pretty quickly. Although the restaurant was empty, there was a bunch of people picking up food for deliveries or take out while we were there. Food was good but not amazing. They also had the shaved ice as a dessert option which was affordable and delicious. We ordered the mango shaved ice and it came with frozen mango chunks, syrup, a scoop of mango ice cream, and blueberry cheesecake pieces. We spent $50 for two and it was a very filling meal.
Very under rated. One of the best Gamjatang in all of Halifax. Pork Belly dish was yummy. Bingsu was nice too. Absolutely love this place. Try Gamjatang guys, it's the best value for money and tasty too.

It was our first time going but won't be the last. Prices are decent and the portions are great. I ordered bibimbap (it also came with a fantastic miso soup) and my husband had jjajangmyeon, both were delicious. We also had kimchi and pickled radish brought to the table. One thing that was nice is the bibimbap came without gochujang, you put it on yourself - I love a lot of it but this method is great for someone who doesn't want too much spice.
Next time I hope to have a little more room to try the red bean pingsoo for dessert.

I ordered take out and was not disappointed in the quality of the food when it came! I'd be interested in dining in one day, seems to be pretty great value and delicious.
It was our first time to get their food through SkipTheDishes. We got sushi rolls, Korean food bibimbap and tempura. Love their sushi rolls especially their dragon rolls! The tempura was super tasty as well, just felt like there’s not a lot of flavor in the bibimbap. I put all hot sauce and kimchi in it but still tasted like a little bit plain. Otherwise I still enjoyed their food! Their dragon roll was a killer! Next time i wanna try different sushi rolls and their different Korean food for sure.

Large menu of choices, friendly and attentive staff, clean environment and most importantly tasty food. My only criticism is the lack of decor, but that didn't take away from the overall experience.
It's a nice little understated spot. Nothing to write home about, but not going offensive either. Having lived in Toronto for years I was spoiled for choice when it came to cuisine, and I just didn't feel like the lunch we had was "amazing". It was just... food at a good price.
I had a lunch special Bento box with Bulgogi and dumplings. When our meal arrived, the beef had already cooled off a little.
All in all, the flavours didn't jump off the plate, but it was a pleasant experience and I'd consider going back again to try out the dinner menu.
Cold noodles wonderful. In summer, I recommend eating naengmyeon and bulgogi together. Thank you.
