That was the first time there and I must admit that the service was awesome and the food was great and yes I would recommend it to anyone.
First time at this restaurant, got lunch specials for takeout. Restaurant itself clean and modern, server very friendly and efficient. Food was clearly cooked upon ordering, could hear the chopping and sizzling from the kitchen! Curried chicken excellent,very fresh crunchy vegetables and good sized pieces of chicken. General Tao Tofu was also great. Nice to have a different vegetarian option. Spring rolls large and fresh, even the steamed rice was great as is. Fresh flavorful food at a great price. We'll be back to try more!
The $10.50 lunch combo menu is good value for your money. Their egg rolls filling is made with bean paste which I like because too many places now use bean sprouts and call it a day. I recommend the General Tao Spicy Chicken. It was definitely more memorable than the other lunch special options. Sometimes they give out mail coupons for minimum order discounts.
We ate in the store yesterday and ordered again from Uber eat today. Best Chinese restaurant I ever had ! My kids all like fried rice and fried rice noodles. And the waitress is so sweet! Thank you!
After going to a lot of trendy, overpriced restaurants recently, I am glad I went for classic Chinese-Canadian food. Affordable, great friendly service, big portions for the price. The vegetables are fresh and crisp and the general tao chicken was crispy and flavourful!
Overall impression was that we were served traditional dishes using fresh ingredients (vegetables and proteins), the delicious recipes were all extremely well prepared and perfectly seasoned, and all our senses were more than satisfied. Our compliments and thanks to the kitchen! The atmosphere was pleasant and the entire restaurant was very clean. Lina, our server, was friendly and attentive. Our bill was quite reasonable considering we have enough for a full, leftover dinner tonight. The Golden Fortune Restaurant offers excellent quality and value and we will gladly make the hour’s drive to return again soon.
Ordered take out from golden fortune on Uber. My food arrived very quickly and still very hot and fresh. Driver put the food on the front deck as requested but if it wasn't for Uber app popping up to ask how was his service I wouldn't have known he had been there because he did not knock.
Probably the best “Chinese” food I have ever had. It was fresh, tasty, and excellent portions for the price you pay. Their wonton soup is phenomenal.

This is hands down the finest Chinese restaurant I've experienced! All my kids adore the fried rice and fried rice noodles. Plus, the waitress is incredibly delightful!
The food is top notch and tastes very fresh. Everything was delicious. The beef and broccoli and won ton soup are the best I've tasted.
Delicious food. A slightly bigger vegetarian menu would be nice. The service is always fantastic.
