Great and knowledgeable service. Allergen awareness on point. We had gelato and it was fantastic. Would love another non dairy milk option (like rice or coconut) because soy and almond are common allergens. However almost nothing bad to say about our experience.
The gelato here is spectacular, you wont find better ice cream in this city. The coffee is also great, you really can't go wrong here. The only downside really is the desire to spend all my money here.
I have to give a 5 out of 5, I have loved every single thing I have ever tried from Humani-T Cafe. The service is always quick and staff are all amazing. Being someone with a dairy allergy, I greatly appreciate the vegan options for the gelatos and sorbettos. The fact that when they design new flavours they always come up with new vegan options as well which is amazing. I tell everyone I can to check you guys out, and I let them know all that you have to offer. It is so nice to find somewhere that is so accommodating to people with allergies, and that are local to boot!
I have had Humani-T Cafe on our list for months - I've always been drawn in by their delicious looking gelato! We finally had a chance to pop in today, and this place is much bigger inside than I anticipated! They are also so much more than just a cafe; we really underestimated it. They have lots of loose leaf teas and accessories, a unique variety of dried goods (I found barberries here!! They are impossible to find!!), big variety of branded condiments (like curry paste, chutneys, etc), lots of treat options with considerable attention to GF and Vegan options, a hot and cold beverage menu and of course, the gelato 😍 I had a wildberry iced tea and it was really delicious. We didn't try gelato today but I can guarantee we will be back! The staff member helping us was very friendly and even offered to let us try some of the gelato (it was very tempting). Highly recommend a quick stop in here!
EDIT: I've just been back and I'll admit - this place has really grown on me. I just tried some vegan gelato and it was fantastic!
It's a funky little place that blends a health food store with a café. I'll admit that when I first showed up I puzzled over where the cafe entrance was until I realized they were one in the same.
It's definitely an eclectic place, and it's probably well suited to a certain crowd. I'm not that crowd, but I won't knock a place just because it isn't my style.
One of the best vege wraps I have ever had. Toasted to perfection, great flavour combination.
Tomato and brie panini was sensational.
Good coffee and easy take out.
Have also sat in once before. Its a pleasant atmosphere.

Great place for gelato, sandwiches, coffee based drinks, tea and much more. Vegan friendly, wonderful indoor and outdoor seating.
I loved the atmosphere in here as much as the food and coffee. A nice, family friendly place. It's spacious with a good mix of seats (sofas and wooden seats) and it was really cool and open on a hot day.
I had a bean wrap (awesome!), the kid had strawberry lemonade ice cream (awesomer!) and the wife had coffee, as did I. All of it was great and the staff are friendly and attentive. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 You should definitely go here.
Staff are always extremely friendly and kind. The Skor Latte is amazing and as someone who is sensitive to lactose, it doesn't make my stomach upset at all and that is enjoyable to say the least. The store is well organized and very clean. Highly recommend as a staple for downtown! Plus they have parking!
