I have to give a 5 out of 5, I have loved every single thing I have ever tried from Humani-T Cafe. The service is always quick and staff are all amazing. Being someone with a dairy allergy, I greatly appreciate the vegan options for the gelatos and sorbettos. The fact that when they design new flavours they always come up with new vegan options as well which is amazing. I tell everyone I can to check you guys out, and I let them know all that you have to offer. It is so nice to find somewhere that is so accommodating to people with allergies, and that are local to boot!

I have had Humani-T Cafe on our list for months - I've always been drawn in by their delicious looking gelato! We finally had a chance to pop in today, and this place is much bigger inside than I anticipated! They are also so much more than just a cafe; we really underestimated it. They have lots of loose leaf teas and accessories, a unique variety of dried goods (I found barberries here!! They are impossible to find!!), big variety of branded condiments (like curry paste, chutneys, etc), lots of treat options with considerable attention to GF and Vegan options, a hot and cold beverage menu and of course, the gelato 😍 I had a wildberry iced tea and it was really delicious. We didn't try gelato today but I can guarantee we will be back! The staff member helping us was very friendly and even offered to let us try some of the gelato (it was very tempting). Highly recommend a quick stop in here!

EDIT: I've just been back and I'll admit - this place has really grown on me. I just tried some vegan gelato and it was fantastic!
It's a funky little place that blends a health food store with a café. I'll admit that when I first showed up I puzzled over where the cafe entrance was until I realized they were one in the same.
It's definitely an eclectic place, and it's probably well suited to a certain crowd. I'm not that crowd, but I won't knock a place just because it isn't my style.

One of the best vege wraps I have ever had. Toasted to perfection, great flavour combination.
Tomato and brie panini was sensational.
Good coffee and easy take out.
Have also sat in once before. Its a pleasant atmosphere.

I loved the atmosphere in here as much as the food and coffee. A nice, family friendly place. It's spacious with a good mix of seats (sofas and wooden seats) and it was really cool and open on a hot day.
I had a bean wrap (awesome!), the kid had strawberry lemonade ice cream (awesomer!) and the wife had coffee, as did I. All of it was great and the staff are friendly and attentive. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 You should definitely go here.

Staff are always extremely friendly and kind. The Skor Latte is amazing and as someone who is sensitive to lactose, it doesn't make my stomach upset at all and that is enjoyable to say the least. The store is well organized and very clean. Highly recommend as a staple for downtown! Plus they have parking!

I've had a few dates here. they were all great. fantastic atmosphere, great food, and a really fun little couch at the back.
I've shopped in their small selection of healthy food grocery items at the front of the store. it's great for hard to find product.

Always enjoy coming here for gelato and tasty vegan treats. The service is outstanding. Yesterday, I ordered a Lawrencetown Fog, and the lovely woman who waited on me asked if I had tried Lavender instead of vanilla... I had not, so I excitedly agreed to try it.. It was unbelievable.! I can't stop thinking about it, and I will be back soon to have another one!

I love this place! When I’m in the area I stop buy to get some gelato, coffee and a bakery item. I love that some items are Vegan while keeping other diet friendly items as well.
They also had info pages with some in-depth knowledge of teas besides your typical black and green teas, which I thought was neat to show some benefits of other teas.
They follow Covid guidelines very well with: distancing, only so many people allowed in, mask mandatory etc.
The people who work there are super helpful, and kind.

Yummy yummy yummy! Love their vegan gelatos, love their vegan high tea - this place is the best. Another review said the staff are not friendly but I thought the waiter for the vegan high tea was fantastic when I went on Feb. 15 so I don't know what the problem is!

I thoroughly enjoy this place. Its nice to see the paintings on the wall, the whole food being sold downstairs, and a comfortable atmosphere to do homework or read. Parking can be a little unique but a five minute walk is good for you. Come enjoy, pull up a seat, and they even have a piano.

The non-dairy ice cream was absolutely delicious - probably the best have had in town, and there was chocolate!! However, this place closed on Aug 31 - am guessing b/c homeless people are tenting out nearby & when I was in there one came in & was strangely aggressive. That would deter customers, am sure. No doubt the pandemic didn't help, either. This was a wonderful resource for many of us and it is so unfortunate that it's gone.

Great selection for hard to find items in the grocery section. Went for vegan ice cream, was not disappointed with the coffee coconut and chocolate! (There were lots of others to choose from as well) I also found vegan baked goods and the blueberry oat muffin was lovely.
The store is a little dated and could use a little facelift, but overall very nice.

It was my first time and the service was amazing, my two little girls loved trying and choosing.....I don't remember the young ladies name (she had a vine tattoo on her arm) but she was amazing definitely go back!!!!!
My littlest isn't a fan of the coldness of ice cream but she definitely ate this.

Consistently good coffee. Morning glory muffin was just like home and not the ridiculous size most coffee shop serve. And yes, I do consider that a plus... better portion control equals less guilt! I do however wish the staff were a little friendlier because the ambiance of the cafe is lovely.

Really disappointing customer service today. Saw many frustrated faces on your guests. No communication, no hellos, lots of chit chat amongst staff. Waited easily 15 minutes for a breakfast sandwich that was dying on your panini press. Finally decided to go up and ask for my breakfast sandwich and was greeted with. Did you want it now cause we will bring it to you. Top so hard I couldn’t bite through it!!

Good coffee. The music is to loud. It may help the staff get through the day but we all have different taste and tolerance in music. Out of common courtesy play a less aggressive music at a background volume at the South park location.

We were really enthusiastic about the place until they wanted to charge us for hot water (that’s after purchasing 35$ from their health store and ordering a bunch of stuff). We cancelled our order and left... losing clients for hot water... think about it next time! #commonsense

Great and knowledgeable service. Allergen awareness on point. We had gelato and it was fantastic. Would love another non dairy milk option (like rice or coconut) because soy and almond are common allergens. However almost nothing bad to say about our experience.

Disappointed with the customer service. Today I went for gelato (at the hydrostone). I stood around for about 5-8 minutes while the staff chatted to one another instead of taking my order. And then they only had two vegan kinds out in the display case and one was pretty much empty. So I asked if they had any more vegan kinds in another freezer and the guy said no and that what was in the display case was all they had. So we got the only kind that they had and the rest of the other one. Then two minutes later.. this family of four comes in and asks the same question to someone else and he goes and checks and they had four other flavours in another freezer. Pretty frustrating as I would have gotten one of the other flavours instead
