Been waiting to have some great karaage..... the wait is over.... best fried chicken I have had on this side of the Pacific Ocean. Thank you. We will be back again!!!!! ( all the food we ate was wonderful!!)
I had lunch today at Mother's Pizza.
It's a nice bright restaurant. It was fairly quiet when I got there but was jammed when I left.
I ordered a small pepperoni pizza. It was delicious! The pepperoni wasn't the usual kind and had some substance and taste. The crust tasted fresh and was soft. The sauce and cheese were yummy! I'd get it again.
Simon was my server. He was nice and took good care of me.
This is our go - to place in the neighborhood. The people here are so nice and awesome, just emblemic of Halifax. An open-concept restaurant that's minimalist - industrialist decor in homage to the building's roots. The only pizza place to offer beef pepperoni! We get the veggie and it feeds us well over conversation. Thin - crust, wood - type oven pizza with simple gourmet toppings. Delicious!
First time at Mothers and it won't be my last . Great clean urban esthetic, friendly service. I ordered the white pizza as I'd heard great things and I was not disappointed. I had the 9
Inch small pizza and it was more than enough . Delicious mozzarella and Gouda with a balsamic reduction and topped with arugula, it was like pizza and a salad. It was just the right amount for a lunchtime bite, not too heavy or greasy and incredibly flavorful ( love the walnuts ) I'm already planning my next visit.
Tomaso's has been dethroned! The 4 cheese and Kitchen Sink pizzas here are the best in HRM and perhaps North America

We were greeted immediately at the door, and their attention to detail and pride in the food they serve give this restaurant great bones to succeed. The food was great, well priced, and it is a great place for date night or a casual meal with friends.
The staff was incredibly friendly! The pizza was pretty good. It was different with the garlic mushrooms. I was the only one dining in but there was a ton of take out orders. It was nice to be able to see the pizza cooking in the oven. Price was reasonable as well.

I recently visited Mother's Pizza and had a fantastic experience. We ordered three regular pizzas, and each one was a delight. The vegetarian pizza stood out with its incredible combination of flavors. Topped with traditional tomato sauce, fresh spinach, zucchini, olives, and mushrooms, it was simply amazing. The Margherita and four cheese pizzas were equally tempting and didn't disappoint.
The quality of the ingredients and the traditional flavors truly shone through in every bite. The crust was perfectly baked, and the toppings were generous. The ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant, and the service was friendly and attentive.

You can notice they are short of staff, but that doesn't mean the guys won't strive to provide you with a good pizza and a good service.

Great pizza! Itโs more โartisanโ than regular drunk sloppy pizza, so it depends what youโre in the mood for.
Location is perfect, parking might be an issue on the future.
Decorations and layout is simple and nice, it is good for group of friends and individual. The place is specious and can fit lots of people or group.
Cleanliness, was below expectations, lots of fly inside the restaurant we had to leave early.
Waiting time to be seated, at the time I was there, seats were available, no Waiting time
Service, to be honest, the guys were friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and the ingredients.

Such a cute little spot, the arugula salad and the regular garlic fingers were awesome. One of the better salads you could have and for a decent price. Our server was good, no complaints.
Very pleasant little pizza place. The food was good and they have a unique selection of toppings and specialty pizzas. The staff was nice and patient and the pizzas were made in a timely manner despite it being quite busy when I went in
Amazing pizza, clean place and nice staff.
Their pizza is full of flavour and delicious, the crust is amazing. They provide different vigiterian options, but i think they should have different options in general. I like that they use environment friendly stuff, no plastic. The prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is nice. Street parking is available near the restaurant. The bathrooms are clean too.
Very Causal Dining Place. Their thin crust pizza with unique pairing of ingredients is great, for most of their featured pizzas. I enjoyed the Garlies (Garlic Fingers) with their chilly oil and chilly flakes, even though the chilly oil seems to be quite mild, was still delicious.
Probably one of the better pizza options in Halifax . We had the Tapenade pizza and the Garlies :)
Perfect amount of toppings and the taste was outstanding .
Friendly staff , clean & attractive restaurant .
We went a little late and didn't feel rushed to leave .
