Lakeside is attached to where we are staying. The complimentary breakfast rotates it menu daily so you always have fresh options in the morning. Plus it was a gorgeous lakeside view while you are eating. We had dinner there and the server Joe was super nice!! We sat outside on the patio in the evening when it was a little cooler. They had a fireplace going and he noticed I seemed cold and brought a blanket out for me. Really good food as well!

A surprising hidden gem. Lovely patio, yummy and approachable food. I lived in Halifax for years and would always venture downtown for dinner, but I highly recommend this place.

A lovely location for this Best Western Hotel situated on the shore of chocolate lake. Very convenient drive to Halifax harbor. And the attached chocolate lake bar and grill restaurant was excellent.
