Delicious food, quick and friendly service. Great for a quick bite to eat. Menu is extremely vegetarian/vegan friendly, but has plenty of options for non-veg eaters as well.
Excellent service and food was fresh and delicious. The flavor of the sauce and rice in the stir fry was amazing! Unfortunately we live a few hours away, otherwise my husband and I would eat here all the time!
Came here for lunch with family after visiting Halifax Public Garden nearby. We like the sweet and sour taste of the pad thai here. Thai curry was not too spicy which was good for us. The grilled pork sandwich was not traditional Vietnamese style but my toddler enjoyed it and he is usually picky with food so I had nothing to complain. Definitely come back with some vegetarian friends because this place offers many vegan food options like tofu curry, pad thai, fried rice, and it's right next to the movie theatre
WIsh I had known about this adorable little retro chic hole in the wall restaurant hidden away in the basement of the Park Lane Mall earlier.
What a gem! They have both meat and vegetarian/vegan dishes which is great for me because it can be tough to find affordable vegan food to eat out.
An, the owner is very friendly and knowledgable. I ordered the tofu curry on vermicelli noodles (pictured). It was very flavorful and delicious and also extremely well priced.
I am definitely going to be a regular.

Absolutely delicious, and it's priced competitively. (Especially for how good it is) I had tofu curry, they were out but she made it fresh.
Store was open later than posted. Which I hope isn't because they aren't getting enough customers. People should eat here when in this mall! The mall has not much to offer, except this little delicious secret on the bottom floor.
Super friendly people. Amazing vegetarian spring rolls and lunches. I always visit here when I am in Spring Garden looking for lunch. You should come here if you are vegetarian or looking for a quick lunch!
This is a true hidden gem. They have amazing meat and vegan options which is super uncommon at this price range, they are actually affordable! The people who work there seem to be a family? They are all super nice and friendly and easy to talk to, make sure to check this place out if you get the chance!

Delicious! The spring rolls were some of the best vegetarian spring rolls I've ever had. The server was very friendly. Our dish was a vegan tofu curry. It was very flavourful and the vegetables were delicious. I would recommend this place to everyone
I have been following this family around for years and absolutely love their food. They used to own a restaurant called Saigon Nuit decades ago and it was my favourite in Halifax at the time. Later, they opened Cap St. Jacques and I started going there. Then I lost them for awhile until I discovered they opened this smaller food place in Parklane Mall. My favourite dish is the veggie curry with steamed rice. It used to be chicken curry until I became a vegetarian, and that was fantastic too. They have a good Pad Thai, and various other curry dishes. The ladies who run the restaurant, I think mother and daughter, are just two sweet-hearts who truly care about what they are offering. If you want a surprise in mall food, this is your place.
I can't believe the generous portion of the $6.50 "chubby bun"! I was expecting this would be like a little round steam bun, circular and doughy with a savoury center, like a large Korean dumping (or jjim bbang); and when she asked me chicken or pork I assumed it would be a little bit of minced pork with some marinade and cut veg inside.
INSTEAD she brought out this monster sandwich that is big as a Portuguese bifana! And curiously enough it is much in the same style. A porkchop steak, several veggies inside a long oval shaped bread that was slightly crunchy outside, soft and fresh inside.
(It makes me wonder what I would have gotten if I had ordered the $8.50 sized larger bun? Would my car tip over like at the end of the Flintstones ? )
Very good value for the $6.50 chubby bun. Pleasantly surprised and definitely will go back.
PHENOMENAL chicken curry - incredibly tasty, made with care and quality ingredients. Friendly service too! A hidden gem, will definitely seek this place out again!
They are very friendly! Amazing food at a reasonable price! Been there at least three times and planning to go back soon! Highly recommend their chicken wonton soup!
