I have already tried to delicious Tapas-style apps and am waiting for the pork belly sandwich. So far, I have to say Top Notch. The chef really knows how to combine ingredients to deliver an amazing taste experience!! I will definitely come back to try more of the menu. I would recommend this place if you consider yourself a true foodie!!
Une première pour nous ce soir au Bistro l'Alambic, nous avions un souper pour le 40ième d'un ami. Le tout était excellent, de l'entrée d'escargots, au plat de veau et que dire du dessert de tarte au sucre! Bravo au staff qui ont bravé la chaleur et nous a fourni un service rapide, attentionné et impécable. Vraiment, un gros bravo... une vrai perle ce petit resto!

C'était ma première visite et j'étais vraiment surprise par ce petit bistro caché! C'était un jeudi Taco, et ils étaient délicieux! À essayer c'est sur!
This was our first time to this Bistro and we were totally amazed. The food was excellent, the staff went above and beyond and the atmosphere was friendly. We were there for a "diner and a show" (their first) with the band Firebelly. I have nothing but good things to say about this blues band. A great evening.

Was staying at the Hilton Lac Leamy and Arome was booked. Came to this bistro with some friends for dinner on a Saturday night. Amazing food and atmosphere, but best of all was the service. Absolutely impeccable. Highly recommended and will definitely be back.

Superb Bistro. Dropped in on a Friday night to try this new addition to Hull. We were absolutely blown away by the Food and Service. I was so impressed by the originality and complexity of the dishes that I inquired who was the chef cooking these delicious plates. The chef is Raphael who was originally chef de cuisine at Town on Elgin street and also worked at Play and Zen Kitchen. From the duck tartare, Beets salad and our shared Pork dish...the quality, textures and complexity of of meals were superb.
À Découvrir!. Nouveau restaurant à Hull qui vaut vraiment la peine d'être découvert! Tous les plats que nous avons essayé étaient délicieux mais les gnocchis et le filet mignon avec sauce hollandaise au beurre de noisette furent nos coups de coeur! Pour dessert, la crème brulée vanille, noisettes, Grand Marnier a couronné le tout parfaitement! Ambiance décontractée et agréable, service courtois, Nous reviendrons certainement!
Delicious & good vibe, right by the casino!. Incredible menu with lots a choices for any tastes. Calamari was particularly good, and the steak was amazing! Great beer and wine selection too.

Wow what an experience! The food is make by a very talented chef. Everything I had was simply wonderfull from start to finish.
I ate the best sugar pie I've never had there.
The staff is super friendly and the service is excellent!
It cost more than your typical meal but the food there as nothing of typical. Everything in my plate was there for an reason and when it came together, it felt like an big and wonderful maelstrom of flavors.
Believe me, when you get out of there feeling like a big balloon but your are still amazed at what you've ate, you'll be shure that it was worth every penny.
That was my first time, and me and my wife ate one of the meal of our lives. We are certainly going back there!
I went here for dinner with 9 other people and we had a terrific experience. The atmosphere and service were impeccable.
No one in my party spoke French and the menu was new, so it hadn't been translated into English yet, so the chef came to our table and translated the menu item by item for us.
We each ordered some different dishes and shared; everything was perfect right down to the creme brulee for dessert.
I definitely will be back!

Cool and interesting events announced on Facebook. The cocktails are actually made with quality ingredients. This bistro is a must on your list and it will soon become "Your place".
Great! Very nice place. Awesome fries, good burger, nice atmosphere. Excellent drink selection and interesting artwork for sale. Best WIFI Ive ever used and they found me an outlet to use!
This restaurant is the best kept secret in Gatineau/Ottawa region. The food is seasonal and comforting. The garnishes always complement the main element of the dish perfectly. The last dish I had there was the salmon. I don't typically order salmon at restaurants because it is often dry and boring. Not at L'Alambic though... This is one of the best meals I have ever had! I was amazed how well all the flavours came together. The tender salmon with salty crispy skin, soft polenta and amazing sauces (I can't remember the ingredients). They also make my new favorite cocktail - the Banjo Slammer. A froathy and spicy drink, for those who don't like sweet cocktails like me. Lastly, the service is always great.

I wasn't sure at first when we arrived, there was only one waitress and there wasn't a lot of choice on the menu, but I was agreeably surprise! We didn't wait to long and if you ask the waitress there is more than the menu offer. The food and the drink were excellent.
Do not have a large selection of meal. But really good service and food. The place is nice; arts, old style fashion and good local alcool products.
Found this place after 4 other bistros were full, and I'm glad we stumbled upon this gem. Food was fantastic, and it gave off very homey vibes. Overall fantastic!
