Craving for Indian Sweets?
Don’t think much and simply head to All India sweets on 23 avenue to satisfy your sweet-tooth. They give good amount of indian touch to their Snacks as well as sweets.
They use appropriate amount of sugar in their sweets which i liked the most.
First time i ordered Infamous combination of Jalebi and rabdi . Order was taken by the owner and usually they don’t keep rabdi for their order, but with my request they made this combination which i enjoyed the most.
Second time i ordered the same combination, but this time it was a sheer disappointment. Their rabdi wasn’t cooked properly.
Their samosas are also good to try. As per my recommendation, this is the best place in edmonton till now to try your buds on Indian sweets.
All India used to be my go-to place growing up as I lived a less than 5 minute walk from this place. However, eventually I ended up moving and as a result I rarely ever come back to this place. I remember fondly about how good their samosas used to be, and how they had pretty cheap biryani and curry. I ended up trying their biryani again this time.
I can't speak much for the quality of service when I tried their food again this time as it was for takeout, but food was fresh when delivered. Their biryani was spicy. Like WHOA. I think I have a pretty high tolerance for spicy stuff and this one definitely hit the spot. At least the yogurt that it came with helped to numb the spice and give a good balance. I'd love to come back to try their samosas but I didn't get a chance to try it.
All in all, the biryani was decently priced, and a tad bit spicy. I might stop by to try their samosas that I loved as a kid. Recommended.
I have eaten the lunch buffet here. There was a quite a good selection of main dishes. There were 2-3 desserts to choose from as well. Was a fulfilling meal
