I am a little surprised at the low rating of this place. I used to come here once or twice a month on my way to the university. I always get the breakfast bowl. The potatoes are uniquely cooked (maybe a pressure cooker then pan fried?) with nice spices. I agree with some of the other reviewers that say the ambience could use some work, but the service has always been great for me. Unfortunately, the owner takes some getting used to and comes off a little abrasive at first but I got to know him better and really enjoyed coming here. I need to go back and try other dishes though.

Very tasty breakfast food and extremely quick service. Reasonable prices as well. And this last sentence is just to hit 140 characters because I've said enough already.

I think this is the best Diner downtown, fast service great ambiance nice sand stone walls, the food is always up to fresh standards, I always go to the same, ordering the chicken pizza and prosseco.
