This place rocks ! First of all, the service is off the hook ! These people really know how to treat customers well. They give you exactly the right amount of personal attention and privacy. Secondly, the food is fantastic ! Always good , always consistent.
The management and staff at this location should be commended. They truly make this place stand out !
Today I took my son (7) to Earls after banning them for the last whatever many years since the meat/tipping debacle. Anyways, it was fantastic! Happy hour Mini pizza, and the most wonderful magician for the kids! Great job putting the focus back on customers!!
I'd like to give them 3.5 stars, but it appears that Zomato no longer allows this. We go to this location a lot as it is close to home. The service is fantastic. Whenever there has been an issue, the staff and management have always handled it superbly. I have to say that the few times that I have dined at other Earls, the service has always been great. I'm not a big fan of chain restaurants, but Earls does a top notch job. They are always adding new menu items, service is fantastic and the food always tastes as expected. I'd give it a 5/5 in the chain restaurant category and 3.5 overall compared to all other restaurants. I'm averaging it to 4 only because of the Zomato rating system.
I really enjoyed the food here. My fish tacos were delicious and the fries were crisp. My caesar was also made perfectly. However, service really impacts the experience, and they were really lacking in that. Our waitress wasn't very friendly, I've had better service at Denny's.
Overall food quality has been consistently great. Although this past Wednesday I had gone for wing night because their wings used to be really good-they were small-dried up with very little meat on it. Overall service is usually really good (a couple times slow at lunch) but this past Wednesday we had a very sassy server!! He was super shy at first, spoke so softly you could barely hear him, kept walking away in the middle of us ordering, then by the end of our meal he finally opened up and was more comfortable but man he was sassy!!
I go to this location once a week as I work nearby. I definitely recommend all the food on the menu except wings on wing night, drinks are usually good except this past Wednesday the pitcher was watered down, service is usually great but I will definitely request not to be seated in Mr.Sassy Z's zone next week if he's working!
Went here for lunch today with a friend and we loved it! Our server was friendly and hospitable, not to mention very attentive and always there when we needed anything. When the food came out it looked amazing and tasted even better. We started with the chilli chicken appetizer, it was delicious I would recommend it for sure. Very impressed with this Earls, we plan on coming back!
I have never been disappointed with this Earls, the waiters/waitresses are usually good and the food is always reliable and great. Fantastic drinks and some good favourites like the sushi, burgers, and other grub. Parking is terrible at this location However, the restuarant for the most part is pretty good.
Can't go wrong with Earls. Went to Earls 16th a few days ago, the layout of the building is great like any Earls you will go to in Canada. Parking was a little rough for the spot due to its location beside SAIT. We were sat by a hostess and a service joined us shortly she explained the specials and I went with a 5 dollar corona, problem was I got it 15 minutes later, I assumed first service jitters and didn't think much of it we ordered a spinach dip to start and a pasta entree our pasta came before the spinach dip so we did not get charged for it, I tried another corona and it took just as long so we billed up and left. I will never stop eating at earls even for something like this but the service needed work

Alright. I like earls. I dont love it but I dont hate it. The food is pretty good, and this location has attentive people.
Great meal. We stopped by on Saturday night and although there was a large group of people at the door, we were seated in less than 10 minutes. Very quick service with drinks, and our food came out hot and exactly as ordered! Our waiter was very attentive, enjoyed this meal!

Perfect. I'm from Ontario and visited a friend in Calgary for the weekend with my 21 year old daughter. My daughter has a cat named Earl so we decided to go to Earls for lunch. What a great choice! From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted with polite friendly professional staff. We opted to sit in the outdoor patio area and I was surprised and grateful for the nicely padded bench seating. Our waitress was prompt attentive and extremely helpful in selecting our drinks and food,. We started with White Peach Bellini frozen drinks...amazing! My daughter being a vegetarian was very pleased with her cheesy roasted vegetable quesadilla. She asked for it without mushroom and the waitress inquired if it was for taste or allergy. She informed us that if it was allergy related they would make it in a seperate area of the kitchen to avoid contamination...that blew us away!. I had Earls Famous Clam Chowder served with fantastic warm focaccia bread...although it was suppose to come with a salad, the waitress said I could substitute cole slaw or warm potato salad When I couldn't decide between them they brought me both. which were equally tasty. We really wanted to try the warm banana chocolate cake but had no room. Will defiantly try it next time. The staff seemed like they had been sent to finishing school for restaurants.. We couldn't have asked for better service.My friend commented that the washrooms were so clean and reminded her of Alice in Wonderland. The perfect restaurant experience!
Various occasions have taken me to all the Earls in Calgary and this is the best one. Service is always great, the food gets to your table in record time, it's always tasty and the standards seem to he higher here than at the other locations. The Caesar salad is one of the best in the city, steak frites is delicious as is the main course salmon and the Cajun chicken.
