Came here for the AB on the Plate event where they had a $25 per person lunch special!
Menu included:
Livingston Garden Greens – Heritage Park grown Artisan lettuce, Sliced Cucumbers and baby gem tomatoes, Candied Walnuts, Sylvan Star Grizzly gouda, Saskatoon berry vinaigrette.
Valbella Elk Burger, 6oz ground elk patty, Green leaf lettuce and Heirloom tomatoes, Maraschino cherry pickled onions, Jalapeño Monterey jack cheese, Alberta Bakery Rye bun, Sea salted shoestring fries.
The elk burger didn't taste too different from a regular beef burger, but it was very tender and juicy. I loved the walnuts that were part of the salad. The portions were also huge so we couldn't finish.
The restaurant is located right outside Heritage Park with free 90 minute parking, so it is perfect to visit with family if you are planning to enter the park or just to check out the shops!
Nick was our server and the professionalism from this young man was phenomenal. Not only did he have grand knowledge when it came to the food items but his attentiveness and overall friendliness made me and boyfriend feel at home. Overall a lovey place to eat and will go back it was amazing!
This is our halfway point on our bike rides and I’ve always enjoyed the food and service. Mitch has been our server a few times and he always kills it. Good prices, good patio, good vibes.
They seemed short staffed when we were there. This was evident in how long it took our food to arrive at our table. The food was only warm and not hot. The staff were friendly and did not hesitate to try to make our order better. The restaurant itself was clean and presented well. I believe they are the victims of being unable to hire enough staff (e.g. shortage of available workers applying for work.)
Lunch was amazing today.
Today I had the steak sandwich. Perfect. Medium Rare as I ordered. Salad fresh and crisp.

Honestly the best Fish and Chips I’ve had in very long time. Nice sized portion. Just enough. Lightly battered perfectly done. My friends had the steak sandwich and the other the express lunch. Both said they were great.
Wonderful lunch menu, and the prices are pretty good as well! Bannock was fresh out of the fire, and the flavored butters were delicious. The wraps we ordered fell apart a bit, but we had no other issues besides that. We'll absolutely be back, whenever the chance arises.
