Baci Ristorante is an Italian restaurant located along Hastings St. We’ve passed by Baci Ristorante numerous times over the years but have yet to try their dishes. Baci deserves many kisses for excellent service, fine dining dishes and very reasonable pricing.. Baci Ristorante (Baci translated from Italian means kisses) is a very nice fine dining Italian restaurant with live music on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights and a dance floor. It is a fine dining restaurant without the high prices (ranging from $ 17 to mid twenties for any main menu item).
We enjoyed a Linguini Pescatore and a Pollo Baci dish which were fantastic and would highly recommend these dishes at $ 20 each.
Their desserts are in house made and we shared a Tiramisu, which was rich, creamy and very tasty.
If you have a wedding reception, party or other large get-together this restaurant will seat lots of guests and the classic decor will suit any function.

Came to restaurant as a large group. Service was good. Staff refilled water, cleared plates and checked up on us. Food is decent quality for the price. They have lunch and dinner specials now advertised but we didn't try. Live music was good. The restaurant was a bit dated looking but was clean.
Exceptional. After reading some of the unfavourable reviews I was tempted to change our venue but decided since we have never been disappointed in the past to go ahead with our reservation. Thank goodness I chose to stay we were a party of 10 with some picky eaters (changes were made to accommodate) portions were large, service was great (lovely Polish waitress) prices reasonable. This is a restaurant we will continue to support as we enjoyed everything.
Always perfect. I have been going to this wonder full cozy neighborhood restaurant for lunch and dinner for many years and never been disappointed, food is always delicious, staff are very knowledgable and friendly, prices are extremely reasonable, portions are big, and most importantly good wine and martini list, they also have a live music which is a great bonus, they play nice dancing music, i recommend this restaurant to everyone
A refreshing experience. Went there on a date for dinner. They had live music , mixed with a fine dining setting. A classic date. The food was so so. The dessert was very good. Overall I would not go there for food as the value is not good, but I would take a date there
Weekends are busy. We went at 5:30, as we had an Entertainment Book card, which said that they could only seat us before 6pm on Friday/Saturday. They said that they were fully booked for the rest of the evening past 7pm, so were glad that we came early.
The service was attentive, and the food was excellent. I ordered veal canelloni, and my boyfriend ordered one of the chicken dishes, which he said was very good, as well.
It turns out they have live music Thursday - Sunday, but that Thursday and Sunday evenings were less busy, and otherwise we would need a reservation a week in advance.
We'll come back to hear the music, and dance; they have a lovely, but small, wooden dance floor.
AMAZING!. Seriously delicious food and fun atmosphere! I've been here on dates and in a group, always a great time! The cuisine is wonderful, portions are large and the live entertainment on weekends is awesome. Highly recommend this restaurant!
Very lively place. We went here for dinner the other night and I had the Inferno pizza. It was AMAZING. The seasoning was just perfect and I absolutely love it. The boyfriend had the pesto chicken pasta and that wasn't that great. But don't take my word for it since I don't like pesto anyways. This restaurant has a small dance floor with live music on the weekend and it's pretty cool to see couples and kids rocking to the music on the dance floor. At the same time though, it is very loud. So if you are looking for a quiet place to enjoy a meal together, this is the place to go.
Beautiful place . Every item on the menu was very Tasty . Portions were good to for one person. Staff was super nice . They catered to your needs. Sangria was so good 😋that I had 2 . Lots of choices for non-vegetarian but 1 or 2 choices for vegetarians. Table set u was great but the place itself was little Dark for my liking. Outside of the building wasn’t very fancy either . 3kids 3 adult was $250+
Authentic and rich taste of seafood!! I went at 6pm before the rush. Atmosphere is super romantic in a traditional sense. Service is excellent.. kinda felt like I was in Italy! Hope to go back when they bring live music with lift in covid restrictions. Overall a fantastic exp and will be back.
Came here for the dineout. Firstly, we got the most wonderful foccacia with some garlic oil and it was damnn good. The caesar salad is okay but the caprese salad was much better. The pasta just looked super basic but they tasted very well. The veal and basa are very well seasoned although they look super basic. The side dishes of the entree are so much super good. The tiramisu has good interesting taste but the texture is too firm if its less firmer it would have been better. And i personally love the taste of the creme brulee and not usually a fan of this. The sugar coating is too thick try to use less then it would be perfect. This is not bad. Cheers!
Ordered: Margherita Pizza, Spaghetti Pomodoro and Fettuccine Prosciutto e Pisselli with chicken.
The pastas and pizza were delicious, flavorful, fresh, hot and not to mention the portions were large.
Delivery was shorter than the estimated time (approximately 30 minutes/6 km distance).
P.S. The Spaghetti Pomodoro (picture) doesn't come with cheese on top. I added my own Parmesan cheese to it.
Great atmosphere with live music! Food was good but still room for improvement. Staff was friendly. It's cozy and has a romantic setting. Will return to try other dishes.
We came here on a Friday night with my husband because we both love Italian food. The place has been renovated and it’s beautiful. There is also a great dance floor and singer. The menu looked great with lots of options. Our waiter Bela was very professional especially with my long list of allergies. He suggested a great bottle of wine that paired very well with our meal. Food was delicious. We had a great experience and very much looking forward to go back.
Been there too many times, hard to suggest specific thing to eat because whatever we have had so far been delicious. Try mussels, salmon, pasta, veal, chicken, shrimp and.... just to think about their food makes me hungry. Should I mention their Gelato? Aside from food, place always looks like a big family gathering, warm and friendly with live entertainment. Go once and you'll be going there blind folded.
I have been a bit hesitant to go out and eat after covid, but the staff at Baci made me feel comfortable and they were exceptionally professional. They made me feel like part of their family! The place was nice and clean. The Tortellini fungi was amazing and our waiter Bella was just amazing and he knows his wine :) I will recommend Baci to all my friends and family.
