Review Baci Ristorante - Burnaby

Beautiful place . Every item on the menu was very Tasty . Portions were good to for one person. Staff was super nice . They catered to your needs. Sangria was so good 😋that I had 2 . Lots of choices for non-vegetarian but 1 or 2 choices for vegetarians. Table set u was great but the place itself was little Dark for my liking. Outside of the building wasn’t very fancy either . 3kids 3 adult was $250+

Authentic and rich taste of seafood!! I went at 6pm before the rush. Atmosphere is super romantic in a traditional sense. Service is excellent.. kinda felt like I was in Italy! Hope to go back when they bring live music with lift in covid restrictions. Overall a fantastic exp and will be back.

Came here for the dineout. Firstly, we got the most wonderful foccacia with some garlic oil and it was damnn good. The caesar salad is okay but the caprese salad was much better. The pasta just looked super basic but they tasted very well. The veal and basa are very well seasoned although they look super basic. The side dishes of the entree are so much super good. The tiramisu has good interesting taste but the texture is too firm if its less firmer it would have been better. And i personally love the taste of the creme brulee and not usually a fan of this. The sugar coating is too thick try to use less then it would be perfect. This is not bad. Cheers!

Ordered: Margherita Pizza, Spaghetti Pomodoro and Fettuccine Prosciutto e Pisselli with chicken. The pastas and pizza were delicious, flavorful, fresh, hot and not to mention the portions were large. Delivery was shorter than the estimated time (approximately 30 minutes/6 km distance). P.S. The Spaghetti Pomodoro (picture) doesn't come with cheese on top. I added my own Parmesan cheese to it.

Great atmosphere with live music! Food was good but still room for improvement. Staff was friendly. It's cozy and has a romantic setting. Will return to try other dishes.

We came here on a Friday night with my husband because we both love Italian food. The place has been renovated and it’s beautiful. There is also a great dance floor and singer. The menu looked great with lots of options. Our waiter Bela was very professional especially with my long list of allergies. He suggested a great bottle of wine that paired very well with our meal. Food was delicious. We had a great experience and very much looking forward to go back.

Been there too many times, hard to suggest specific thing to eat because whatever we have had so far been delicious. Try mussels, salmon, pasta, veal, chicken, shrimp and.... just to think about their food makes me hungry. Should I mention their Gelato? Aside from food, place always looks like a big family gathering, warm and friendly with live entertainment. Go once and you'll be going there blind folded.

I have been a bit hesitant to go out and eat after covid, but the staff at Baci made me feel comfortable and they were exceptionally professional. They made me feel like part of their family! The place was nice and clean. The Tortellini fungi was amazing and our waiter Bella was just amazing and he knows his wine :) I will recommend Baci to all my friends and family.

Baci deserves many kisses for excellent service, fine dining dishes and very reasonable pricing.. Baci Ristorante (Baci translated from Italian means kisses) is a very nice fine dining Italian restaurant with live music on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights and a dance floor. It is a fine dining restaurant without the high prices (ranging from $ 17 to mid twenties for any main menu item).<br/><br/>We enjoyed a Linguini Pescatore and a Pollo Baci dish which were fantastic and would highly recommend these dishes at $ 20 each.<br/>Their desserts are in house made and we shared a Tiramisu, which was rich, creamy and very tasty.<br/><br/>If you have a wedding reception, party or other large get-together this restaurant will seat lots of guests and the classic decor will suit any function.<br/><br/>We highly recommend Baci Ristorante!

Happy Get Together. We had a great time but we always do and always will as a group. There is plenty of time for us to catch up on conversation. I guess it might me different if you dine by yourself or maybe 4. We were 12 so therefore we waited and waited and waited. Our reservations was at 7:30 and our food came at 9:45. I don't know about you but when I am coming for dinner it's exactly that. The entertainment is great and the assumption is that we are staying for that, but that doesn't mean you can take your time on when I should eat. I didn't order appetizer but I should have because I was starving at this point.I am glad that after the wait the food was great. If it had not been we would be having a different conversation. So go with a group it;s fun but order an appie you will be waiting a long time to get served.

I asked what kind of salmon they served and the waiter said "grilled." I asked again what KIND of salmon, sockeye, pink, chinook, etc. and the waiter said "I don't know because I don't like fish." Isn't it the waiter's job to know what is being served regardless of whether or not it's to his taste?! Turns out it was farmed salmon.

Giovanni. That is not a very kind review. You bring your own cake, your host ask to wait for the band to start so they can sing Happy Birthday. That was the wait.

Very bad service; waiter had to be reminded multiple times for the cake and even then he kept ignoring. Try a different restaurant on Hasdtings for a better service. We will never go back again.

My new favorite restaurant. Group of us decided to give this Italian restaurant a try and all of us where very pleased with our choice. Very yummy Italian food, cozy atmospher and attentive service. Then around 9.00 the music started and we had a lot of fun dancing with good variety of songs that they played. We will deffintly be back

Came to restaurant as a large group. Service was good. Staff refilled water, cleared plates and checked up on us. Food is decent quality for the price. They have lunch and dinner specials now advertised but we didn't try. Live music was good. The restaurant was a bit dated looking but was clean.

Exceptional. After reading some of the unfavourable reviews I was tempted to change our venue but decided since we have never been disappointed in the past to go ahead with our reservation. Thank goodness I chose to stay we were a party of 10 with some picky eaters (changes were made to accommodate) portions were large, service was great (lovely Polish waitress) prices reasonable. This is a restaurant we will continue to support as we enjoyed everything.

Always perfect. I have been going to this wonder full cozy neighborhood restaurant for lunch and dinner for many years and never been disappointed, food is always delicious, staff are very knowledgable and friendly, prices are extremely reasonable, portions are big, and most importantly good wine and martini list, they also have a live music which is a great bonus, they play nice dancing music, i recommend this restaurant to everyone

Food is rich. Staff arrogant. Entertainment old and dated. Pricey for mediocre evening.

A refreshing experience. Went there on a date for dinner. They had live music , mixed with a fine dining setting. A classic date. The food was so so. The dessert was very good. Overall I would not go there for food as the value is not good, but I would take a date there

Food was excellent! We had the escargot,(Scrumptuous) seafood fettucini ( succulent, fresh prawns and juicy scallops!), veal scaloppini, mushroom zuppa, Service was friendly, efficient, and attentive. Had always wanted to try this place out, glad I did

Only go for the 2 for 1 Entertainment discounts. I took my mother here for her birthday dinner with my boyfriend. The service was terrible, very slow and the food was very expensive for the portions that we were given. Don't order the prawns, you only get 5 for $12.00 and the tiramisu was the size of a credit card and was $8.00. The capaccino was also very small, and to add baileys to it for an after dinner dessert, the whole drink cost 11.00.... :S<br/><br/>There is one waiter there who has a mustache and he is on the ball, but in general the service was slow and unresponsive. I like their menu but find their options limited. My mom asked if they could make her a lemon cream sauce because it's her favourite and the waiter suggested against it because he didn't think the chefs would be capable of it.... Yikes. All in all, it's okay but not worth paying full price like we did for my mothers birthday. My mom said she didn't need to go back there. <br/><br/>I will only be going back because of the entertainment coupon. At least I'm not paying full price. <br/><br/>PS - note to the owners, if your staff and guests need flash lights to see the menu, pay the cheque and in general function at the table... it's time to install some more lights. There are some sections in there that are WAY too dark. That's why the ambiance was rated so poorly.

Weekends are busy. We went at 5:30, as we had an Entertainment Book card, which said that they could only seat us before 6pm on Friday/Saturday. They said that they were fully booked for the rest of the evening past 7pm, so were glad that we came early.<br/>The service was attentive, and the food was excellent. I ordered veal canelloni, and my boyfriend ordered one of the chicken dishes, which he said was very good, as well. <br/>It turns out they have live music Thursday - Sunday, but that Thursday and Sunday evenings were less busy, and otherwise we would need a reservation a week in advance.<br/>We'll come back to hear the music, and dance; they have a lovely, but small, wooden dance floor.

AMAZING!. Seriously delicious food and fun atmosphere! I've been here on dates and in a group, always a great time! The cuisine is wonderful, portions are large and the live entertainment on weekends is awesome. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Disappointing Friday Evening At BACI. Far Away From Great Italian Spirit.. While the website is professionally done, promoting the best of Italian spirit, the dinning experience at BACI Ristorante was a 2 on a "1 to 10" scale.<br/>I would like to keep this review brief hoping many people will read it, and perhaps the owners will take some form of corrective action regarding their performance. * PTO means Point To Owners<br/>1. The food was far away from the excellent Italian cuisine. PTO - Some of us have been to Italy.<br/>2. The music had included just a couple of lovely Italian songs. PTO - We have chosen to dine there chiefly for the opportunity to dance on the rhythm of sweet, old, unique Italian songs, definitely not Spanish - 80% or British - 15%.<br/>3. The martinis were … "on-the-job training". PTO - Have you ever tried them?<br/>4. The bill is totally high for the service. PTO - Please take into consideration the competitive restaurant market. By all means, we have not regretted the money, but certainly the lost Friday evening.<br/>5. To add to the "fun & satisfaction" we both had stomach pain and heartaches within the hour of leaving the place although we have wisely decided not to have desert. PTO - It would be nice if the menu would offer some Limoncello.<br/>In this great city of ours, we have rarely been disappointed of a dinning experience.<br/>I sincerely hope the owners of BACI Ristorante will take this seriously and will be able to bring soon happiness to their customers.

Very crappy pizza! First they screwed up my order and secondly the pizza tasted awful! There was absolutely no love puz into our pizzas! The mozzarella, there was something off about it!!!!

Very lively place. We went here for dinner the other night and I had the Inferno pizza. It was AMAZING. The seasoning was just perfect and I absolutely love it. The boyfriend had the pesto chicken pasta and that wasn't that great. But don't take my word for it since I don't like pesto anyways. This restaurant has a small dance floor with live music on the weekend and it's pretty cool to see couples and kids rocking to the music on the dance floor. At the same time though, it is very loud. So if you are looking for a quiet place to enjoy a meal together, this is the place to go.
