I have ordered takeout a few times in the past, so we decided to try eating in. The food is consistently good. I have found that when ordering medium, it is boarder line hot, not a bad thing in my mouth mind. Will order again.
My wife has ordered takeout from here a few times, so when she was forced to pull a double shift at work and stay all night it didn’t surprise me that she would request I deliver. I ordered the Kadahi fish (Hot)for myself and my wife’s favourite Chicken Korma (Medium) and 2 orders of Naan bread. She gave me a taste of hers, there was lots of perfectly cooked chicken in that smooth Korma sauce with a delightful after kick from the medium spice. The Naan was great, it was soft and freshly made and was a nice accompaniment to both meals. The Kadahi Fish was loaded with tasty fish, wonderfully cooked bell peppers, and it was hot as ordered. I find that a lot of places have a hot that makes you think they thought you were kidding when you said hot but no, if you like it spicy it will be and it will taste great. Staff are friendly and the restaurant appears quite comfortable. I will absolutely be trying more of their menu.
While in Richmond, we were constantly on the lookout for indian food. Indian Bombay bistro has the best spring rolls, vegetarian pakora, gobi pakora, and paneer pakora in town. Their korma was also yummy and deserves a special mention. Service could be improved slightly. Good place though.
I ordered take out so I can't comment on the service. The quality of the food and portions were great. Interior looked clean as well. Definitely a safe bet.
Indian Bombay Bistro (真材實料的印度餐廳)
這家位於溫哥華本拿比和二埠鄰界接壤的印度餐廳，我個人認為雖未能誇讚是全溫哥華最好吃的印度咖喱，但肯定是本拿比和二埠之最。餐廳於2013年開業，在網上一直都有極佳好評。餐廳除了所在的建築外觀很有風格，室內的裝修也不賴，由色彩配搭和設計以至環境擺設及整潔都花上不少心思啊！至於餐點方面這裡平日午市都會提供特惠套餐，包括主食的咖喱、米飯和烤餅也只不過是$10元而已。可惜我光顧的當天適逢是週末之故，沒有特惠午市套餐供應，所以只能在餐牌裡單點主菜，再加錢配搭米飯及印度烤餅Naan。光看餐牌上的價錢似乎略為偏高，但我認為若按質和量作標準的話，這裡的出品絕對是物有所值。因為餐廳的咖喱是自家從香料原材料加工研磨調配而成，不論濃稠度至色香味俱佳，非一般印度餐廳可比。再加上咖喱醬汁和肉類的份量也較別人多，起不完帶回家放雪櫃後再加熱同樣好吃！
Kadahi Lamb $13.95 (4/5分)
用羊肉加入蕃茄、青椒和秘製香料炆煮而成，味道非常香濃，羊肉份量也很多。幸好服務生建議選擇普通辣度，所以辛辣程度尚可接受
Mango Butter Chicken $12.95 (5/5分)
基本上與butter chicken的做法相同，只不過加多了芒果醬，但味道却提昇不少，雞肉份量也很多，本人極力推薦
This place is second to none when it comes to delicious, reasonably priced Indian food in the lower mainland. Their naan is always airy and light, thier sauces are flavourful and aromatic, and the staff is happy and helpful. I don't order in much but we order from here 2-3 times a month. I can't say enough about this restaurant. Truly an amazing find.
Great Indian place in Burnaby! This resto has become my go to for Indian food as there are limited options in the burnaby/coquitlam area. I have ordered their saag paneer, shahi paneer, chilli chicken, eggplant bharta, dal makhani, chicken malahi, and karadhi chicken and every dish was fresh and delicious! Would definitely recommend this resto for Indian food.
My wife and I had a very nice meal in this beautifully decorated restaurant . The service was very good and the staff very pleasant. The owner, Lucky, was very personable and showed us a separate room for private parties. The Mango Butter Chicken was delicious, and although I had ordered medium heat, there was no heat at all, but quite flavourful. My wife had the Prawn Malay and it was out of this world, so good...We recommend that dish for sure... the prices were reasonable for the quality and we will go back for sure to try other dishes.
This is the only place I have found so far that when you ask for mild - you get mild. The restaurant is colorful, very clean and doesn't have the strong smell of curry like some places. Their naan bread is the best as well, light and fluffy. All the vegetarian curries I've tried are really delicious and is enough for a 2nd meal. Their staff are friendly and helpful in making decisions. A must go to place if you're craving for Indian curry!
I’ve must have driven along 6th Street in Burnaby a number of times but have never really noticed the Indian Bombay Bistro that opened up about a year and a half ago on the corner of Graham Avenue until recently. The interior of this restaurant is filled with warm browns (tables and booths) and accented with vibrant colours on the walls and pillars. At first, I thought the restaurant seemed pretty clean but I did notice that the table and menu had some food stuck to it.
Really enjoy the good. I asked the waiter if I could order the goat with different curry. They did. My favorite us my friend's. He ordered the coconut shrimp curry. (Eventhough it sounds more a Thai dish). The soft bread (Nam) is supper good too.

Food was good, although butter chicken was a bit salty.
Ambience is quite nice, charming, cozy and well decorated.
Craved for Indian food tonight but didn't want to travel all the way to North Delta for a guaranteed authentic taste. Luckily we found Indian Bombay Bistro in New Westminster. Their food totally satisfied our cravings. We ordered butter chicken, chaan masala, lamb Tikka (my favorite), garlic naan and rice. Great customer service and and they follow covid protocols.
Now we know where to go next time without having to cross the bridge.

I would say that if you visit Vancouver, Burnaby & Surrey, then go to this restaurant for the best Indian food items. The food is really awesome & also the staff too. Staff provided great exceptional customer service when we go there. Prices are reasonable and food are great in quality. They are nice too. Restaurant owner was a Punjabi girl & Nice to talk to her as well. I would definitely visit this restaurant again when I go to Vancouver & also recommend all of those tourist to visit at least once and you will forever love it. Didn’t know the owner name of that Punjabi girl whom I talk to and who is managing front counter . But, Thank You for this delicious food. Thank you very much.
My wife and I used to come here all the time. Nice to be back now that covid restrictions are easing. Food is good, busy - but service was there. Great place for good Indian food in an upscale setting, with some variety to the normal Indian fare.
Beautiful restaurant. Very friendly staff. Delicious Chai Tea. The food was so good. Joti our server was very attentive and friendly. I will Recommend this restaurant to my family and order here often.
Came on Vacation first time in British Columbia from Edmonton Alberta. Arrived on 10th July 2021 and the first meal of the BC was at this restaurant.looking at rating we decided to visit, did not disappointed us. These guys know what they are actually working on.tasty delicious amazing food and presentation. Service was tremendously awesome as well. Dishes were a bit less salty but It is better rather than having too much salt. We can always add it on top. Amazing place even space for parking. Place is in burnaby where we are staying currently. I would suggest to have more Gluten Free dishes specially Roti. Kids are celiac positive and have always crave for Gluten free roti in almost all the restaunts. Otherwise must visit place. Awesome food, fantastic service great presentation and last but not least easier to find and convenient to park. Thank you guys. Keep it up👍👍👍
Highly recommend this restaurant, already been here thrice. we visited there on Saturday and it was super busy. The staff was very polite and friendly even on a busy day. They forgot to punch in our order so we had to wait for about 25mins , but as soon as they realized every single staff came and apologized to us and the kids too. They honestly agreed to their mistake and more than compensated for it with prompt service later. Food is really good and they actually make spicy dishes if you ask them to. They have good vegetarian as well as no veg options. Really good butter chicken and their Naan is fabulous. Would love to visit again
