My go to for food at polo park. I go with either the udon or the rice cakes. It can be spicy for some people. It's pretty good for mall food.
Pretty yum and generous portions. The flavours here are pretty mild so don't expect the strong Korean flavours that you might get in a restaurant. This is a food court place so the items are more mainstream but still good. It's a nice change up from the Chinese and Thai places nearby. All the dishes are cooked to order so everything tastes fresh as opposed it sitting under a heat lamp.
For $8-$10 you get a very generous portion of noodles and protein but they are lighter on the vegetables. The portions are too big for one person but maybe just a tad small for two adults - depends on your appetite.
The items can all be ordered mild, medium or spicy with different proteins. The spice gives the dishes a nice kick of heat! I really liked the "Udoki" - is stir fried thick udon noodles in what seemed like a chili oil sauce? It came with a generous portion of shrimp as well. The "Kimchi Bokum" is stir-fry vermicelli noodle with Kimchi, vegetables with beef or chicken. The kimchi noodle with beef was another good item that is reminiscent of Chinese stir fried noodles. I didn't sense any specific Korean flavours but it was still good. There was plenty of meat and the meat was tender and not fatty at all.
Good place if you find yourself in the Polo Park food court.

Edit. It’s not perfect but love the freshness. The beef can be unpredictable.
Usually my favorite place. Love a soup, so filling and full of veggies. Today the beef was tough. Hard to eat. It wasn’t cut against the grain. Not good.
First time here and really liked the new place it’s inside the mall. The food is made to order so it’s always hot. The only complaint I have is I wish there was a little more meat but otherwise I recommend it!
Very friendly he explained the menu to me. .the taste is out of this world. I will go back an try other dishes . Well worth the price. Would recommend this place for everyone
Alright I’m not even supposed to eat here but because your neighbours seem to be more interested with playing on their phones and chatting among themselves then serving me, I passed on them. But wow I should go back and thank them. I’m not familiar with korean cuisine and have always thought you guys only have spicy dishes. Silly me for not asking before until now. Strong, bold flavours like Thai express which I also love. But the best part about my whole experience is being thanked 4 times! I mean who the heck say that many thank you unless it’s somewhere like moxie where it’s because they want my tips. Thank you after I paid them, thank you after they cooked my food, and then 2 more thank you after I went back twice to get an extra fork and then some extra napkins. Usually staff would be annoyed but instead you guys seem to be happy when customers return to annoy you!
I came by the other week and one of the employee messed up my order because there was not a lot of vegetables but luckily I was provided excellent customer service from Henry. He assisted me with a new dish which I was very satisfied. Kimchi always have great customer service and delicious food. Most importantly kind workers with great smiles on their face like Henry.
Very tasty. Nice and hot and fresh. Could have had a few more vegetables. The beef was not tough.
Had lunch at kimchi polo park. My go to favorite is the korean mixed Bbq. Short ribs and chicken thighs. I always get half rice and double veggies. So fresh and slightly spicy which I love. They are so fast and friendly. It's a huge amount of food for the price. I also love the number 5, japche with beef. Tons of other delicious choices too. You gotta eat here.
