Had the most amazing meal catered by Bindi's tonight for a friends 30th birthday. Mist of our guests had never had Carribean food before and they were hooked by the end. Their curry chicken, doubles, Aloo pie and ROTI (OMG THEIR ROTI!!) is to die for!!! Andrea was great to work with in terms of setting our menu and delivering. I highly recommend Bindy's!!
Great food, great customer service! Definitely recommend a chicken roti and a solo :)
They just have a little booth at the forks, but it's a cute little place. Lots of character. I've personally eaten their chick pea roti (I think that's what it's called anyhow) with hot sauce and it's the best roti I've ever had! Lots of flavour and while their hot sauce is definitely spicy, it's super delicious if you like some heat. One great feature of their chick pea roti is VEGAN. Other vegans will really appreciate this, it can be a huge challenge to actually find places that accommodate us, so you'll be just fine here.
THE Best chicken roti in Winnipeg. The roti shells are delicious, filled with chick peas and available to take out to make your own Roti at home!
I've always had a thing for caribbean food, and there isn't too many places in the city where you can get a nice roti, ting grapefruit soda among other things on the menu at Bindy's. Always have to check it out when I'm at the forks!
I'm always looking for a place to have some quality caribbean dishes, and a girlfriend recommended Bindy's. So glad I made my way down here, the Chicken Roti is too good! A little on the messy side so you might want to grab a fork and knife but so worth it!
On my first visit I went for the curried beef platter. The first thing you might notice is that the portion size is quite large. This was true on both of my trips. There was also pita bread with the order. The curry flavour was quite rich, but as expected in a place that caters to a tourist crowd, rather mild. However, the hot sauce has plenty of bite and heat. I really appreciated that the beef was tender. The Curried Beef Platter from Bindy’s I also gave the Doubles a try. While I thought there was good flavour in the filling, and the chickpeas weren’t overly soft, I found the flat bread very tough. I really had to work to tear it apart with my teeth, and it was quite chewy.
Good. Kind of expensive I thought for take out but it is really good. Always get the doubles and chicken roti.
Good Roti. Yummy rotis! They will ask you if you want hot sauce and put it in a little takeout package for you.
Great hole in the wall place at the Forks Market. Had the chicken roti which was very flavorful. Great for lunch.

The food at Bindy’s was great. The chicken jerk was so spicy! A few empty store fronts at the forks, but still a fun place to hang out. #SupportLocal #Winnipeg. What is your favourite store at the Forks?
How can one not be happy when they can get doubles?! Doubles here were tasty, but both the bara and the curry were a tad on the dry side; however, the flavours were excellent. The cucumber chow was crisp and refreshing on a warm day. The aloo pie was very tasty. Everything was a little spiced for Trinidad authenticity, but not so hot as to not appeal to any customer. Service was friendly and quick.
Rotis are the main thing to get here although they do serve other related items. They fill up the roti to be a good ratio of content to the thin layer or roti. I enjoyed the large chunks of potato and chicken in my roti. Flavouring was ok - it is not spicy (if people wonder if it is). Average pricing goes around $11.
Great selection which includes vegan options. They were busy when I went and had to wait about ten minutes for the food, but it was worth the wait. I had the vegetable roti, which is vegan, and is highly recommended. I can’t wait to go back next time I am in Winnipeg.
It was really cool seeing everything made by hand right in front of me. The roti I bought was delicious as were the plantain chips. A little on the pricey side but definitely still worth it.
I just came from eating at Bindy's Caribbean Delights. Indeed, it is truly a delightful place.
I had the bison roti. Delicious and juicy! Full of flavour. The curry and spices blended surprisingly well with the bison meat.
I took the hot sauce on the side, so I could taste and feel the fullness of what it has to offer. It is what it is, hot. Great flavour, and it put some sweat on my forehead, as well as make my scalp itch a little bit, exactly as it should.
I could not finish all of it, which means I now get to have it again for dinner tonight. :D
I will be back again, to try their jerked chicken! And I am looking forward to it!
The curry chicken dish was Excellent! The Roti... I ordered beef but got chicken. It was ok, but I've had tastier Roti's elsewhere.
