A friend gifted us a romantic dinner for two prepared by Chef Laura. She produced a truly delicious and healthy meal which surpassed our expectations. Everything was prepared freshly in our kitchen and each dish was beautifully presented and included something special and fun. The chicken curry was full of flavour and the chocolate brownies with walnuts were incredible! There was enough leftover for supper the following night. We will certainly recommend her and have her cater a dinner party for us. Thank you Laura for a very special night.

Chef Laura catered our small wedding and provided an amazing meal that everyone loved. We appreciated her commitment to using locally sourced ingredients, and she was able to accomodate our guests who had dietary restrictions. The vegetarian and gluten-free options were great!

I surprised my husband who is the main cook in our home with a beautiful meal made by Laura in our home for his 60th birthday. Laura was fantastic to deal with when planning the surprise and meal plan for the evening. We had a few guest so Laura and her assistant Jeff came to our home to make the meal. Chef Laura and her Staff made sure our two Dinner Parties were well provisioned with two delicious West Coast menus that our Family of 8 enjoyed immensely. Having the Good For You Gourmet Team take care of these meals for us during our vacation in Victoria allowed for more quality family time together, family game playing and outdoor explorations. We hired Chef Laura as a treat for our friends who had hosted us many times for weekend getaways from the mainland. Chef Laura was wonderful to chat with before the weekend, helping us pick a balanced menu that everyone in our group could eat. It’s not often that our menu is fully celiac-safe, dairy-free, and kid-approved! Not only were all the meals excellent, filling and memorable, Chef Laura left the kitchen absolutely spotless (possibly even cleaner than before!). Even the fridge was completely organized. Amazing. We hired Laura and GFYG to cater for our small wedding. Everyone was SO impressed. The menu was amazing, communication in the run up was great, and Laura thought of every last detail. The food was some of the best we’ve had, with locally sourced ingredients and it was all presented incredibly professionally. Laura had clearly put in so much time and effort. It all meant that we could relax and enjoy the day. Would highly recommend!
Laura has been cooking for me for almost a year now. I'm really impressed with the service and she's been great at accommodating my dietary needs. Chef Laura was able to create a gluten-free and low FODMAP menu that also fit with my personal tastes. She's well-organized, works independently, and always leaves the kitchen clean when she leaves. I would highly recommend her.

Chef Laura Moore catered my wedding 15 years ago, with gorgeous, delicious and healthy food. She fed our 100 guests with beautiful artisan pizzas and salads, and was a pleasure to work with.
Laura is an inspired chef and she looked after our dinner party with grace and ease. She cleaned up and was as pleasant as a peach throughout the entire process from helping us plan the dinner with menu suggestions to how and when to serve the food.

When I decided to throw my first "fancy catered dinner party" I knew I was going to have to specific dietary requests so I searched for a chef who would be able to accommodate that! Good for you gourmet certainly delivered! I had a budget that we were able to build a custom menu within, and they even helped out with my Event Rental Contract! I am very impressed by the professionalism and also adaptability.
