The BEST poke bowl in town!
It’s so fresh and portions are large. Sushi and rolls are yummy too. I always get impressed. The owner and staffs are always kind and friendly. Highly recommend it👍
A lovely little sushi place! The staff are so kind and the restaurant is lovely. I ordered take out, and got the vegetable & mango poke bowl, yam tempura, and my husband got a couple sushi rolls. Everything was delicious! Well prepared, nicely presented, very quick service & they have nice reusable take out bags.
We definitely want to go back and dine in the restaurant.
I would definitely recommend the Salmon Toro Nigeria, Tuna Toro Nigiri and Scallop (Hotate) Nigiri. They are very high level Nigiri here, they are very creamy and melt in your mouth. The highest quality of sushi in the area , I am sure if it. The presentation is great, and i feel like its authentic. I believe the owner is a Japanese lady too. They are very friendly and greet everyone on the way in and out.
I had initially was the Salmon/ Tuna Burrito, it was great but I felt i was still a little bit hungry. I felt the salmon was good quality so I went for the Nigiris as stated above to further investigate which confirmed my suspicion that this place makes legit sushis. Will be back!!.
Edit: went back a second time! I would recommend their Hotate nigiri (raw scallop sushi), Unagi nigiri, Salmon Toro Nigiri, Toro Nigiri. DEFINITELT THE AMAEBI NIGIRI. I did not enjoy the Egg Nigiri . the owner gave me a free seared salmon Nigiri on the house after I ordered so much :D
Quickly popped in for some take out while in thr area. The rolls are amazing albeit its a tad expensive in comparison to others. The only reason I gave 4 stars was the chicken teriyaki Donburri was a little tasteless otherwise the rolls were awesome!
The quality of sushi at this place is simply fantastic, particularly when enjoyed in-store rather than as takeout. The presentation of their sushi dishes in the shop is simply stunning, far better than what you get with takeout orders. For anyone who loves sushi, I wholeheartedly recommend this shop.
Some of the best sushi I’ve had in Victoria. Really fresh fish and great service. We will definitely be back!

(For owners, I guess you should pay to poligraphy designer and photographer one time to make pictures of every position in a menu and make them to be with a image in menu. It will multiply you revenue twice I guess.)

300th review! I used to go here frequently back when they had their old location on Mckenzie/Shelbourne, though I've since moved out of the city. I would typically order the California rolls and BC rolls. The food was always great, and the service always friendly! They used to offer a free fountain drink if you spent a certain amount, though I don't know if they do this anymore. This place is so great that it was my go-to restaurant during my time here.
With the redevelopment of their old premises I'm glad they were able to move elsewhere, and I hope to visit again someday. All the best!
Very authentic sushi ran by a nice Japanese lady. We ordered the salmon & tuna burrito and the spicy tuna burrito and it’s out of the world! Highly recommend and will definitely return! Oh and you also get a free fountain drink if you order $10+!
