Went here with a groupon with my boyfriend. The restaurant was almost pitch black (which is fine, I love the darkness..) I ordered their veggie burger and my boyfriend had their beef burger. Okay, I'm not even a vegetarian, but was in a strange mood and ordered it, fan$&@?ing-tastic. The groupon came with a poutine and it was also great. Super nice waitress. We will be returning.

Superb space ,salty chicken. I have a love-hate relationship with this place, as I do with Canoe Club. Both have ridiculously cool environs for diners, but I've been let down by the food. Sure, I'm not a chef, but it's kind of hard to f*** up pub food. This place is great for cheap drinks, suave tunes and a bustling beautiful hipster crowd. The few times I've eaten here, one time in particular bordered on inedible. I ordered a chicken burger, which was seasoned to hell and back. Grainy and salty coating, it was a shame. I'm pretty easy to please,and I won't usually complain( as I work in the food and service industry myself), but this was pretty dreadful. Who knows, maybe I'll give this joint another shot for its food, and if not, I'll go back for a drink, or their wings night which never fails to impress.
Best music in Victoria bar none. Far too quiet during the day, which is a shame. Really nice staff.
Great local haunt. This is a fun place with great staff. Arianne was awesome. Friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and totally fun. Would definitely recommend trying this place out. Bit of a limited menu compared to some places but the food is really good. If you're in the next neighborhood, give it a try. You won't be disappointed.
Awesome pub at the Quality Inn hotel.
It's small and cozy with great music and a selection of local craft beers.
It's off the main tourist track so that's a bonus.
Not sure of the waitress' name but she was an absolute angel. So sweet, so friendly. We went out a few times for cigarettes, and to my car, and she was totally fine with us coming and going. 10/10 would recommend this place:)
They have an outdoor courtyard style seating area, which was lovely. The weather that day was perfect for being outdoors.
Our waitress was very attentive to all our needs and was very knowledgeable about the food and drinks they provide.
Our food was hot and fresh and quite tasty. The Katsu chicken sandwich on sourdough was delicious and I also really enjoyed the garden salad.
My friend had the Smith burger which was on feature. He said it was excellent, and the french fries were cooked to perfection imo prepared golden with just the right about of salt.
We had a few fancy cocktails with one large circular ice sphere, again our waitress was very knowledgeable of what was in the drinks, and they were excellent. I would certainly recommend this place to others.
The food was very good & the cocktails were tasty!! The bartender was very friendly & made great drinks.
Great place to hang out and work in the afternoon, grab a pint and appie after work or a few beverages in the evening. Interestingly, this place attracts very different groups based on the time of day. Certainly worth a visit just for the atmosphere and quality of beverages.
10 of us ran in here after work for our friends' birthday and it was honestly great! To me the hotdog+beer situation is just perfect. Everyone else's food looked great. Had a bite of the taquito and it was awesome, although much much heavier than I expected it to be.
Drinks were perfect and timely, great service especially for our larger group. Highly recommend
Great environment, great staff! We had wonton soup and it was full of many vegetables. The only thing was that it was odd eating wonton soup without chopsticks :P
We brought our dog along too!
I've eaten and drunk here twice, picture is if Poutene with chicken gravey, very yummy. Bar has a good feeling about it, great staff and good choice of non-comercial music playing in the background. If you like a pub which doesn't feel like part of a big chain this is definitely the place for you.
10/25/19: Popped in for a quick lunch. Ordered the Cesar salad and BLT. Very satisfied. Bread toasted nice and even layers of bacon, lettuce, tomato. The avocado spread was a nice add. Potato leek soup was not very good, thin and lacking depth of flavor. Cesar salad dressing was really good, nice touch with the fried capers.
