Came here upon someone else's recommendation and it lived up to his praise! The best chicken teriyaki and tempura I've had on the island and the service on all ends was very pleasant - will definitely be regulars here for the lunch bento!
This place is great!!! Jimmy is fantastic and he makes you feel like your best friends. The food was fantastic and delicious. If you get the chance to come by, sit by the bar and try the fresh hand cones.
This is my friends and I favourite place and we eat here constantly. The sushi is by far the best ever and so fresh. The staff are always so kind and friendly, %100 recommend eating here!
Good sushi, fast service! I give it 4 stars as it is casual/ not top refined decor or finished or elegant plating , but it's great value and they do a few improved than typical.places, like having eggplants and mushrooms ( rather than just root vegetables) in their tempura. They have the basic drink (2 wines sake cold or hot), but not extended menu. I would go back with friends or casual eat :)
Have ate Sushi Canada wide as a sales rep but have to admit this is the best sushi I’ve ever had!!!

A pretty classic sushi place with decent salmon. The tuna is definitely better than in Ontario. The business got a little too busy to the point where the service was fairly slow. But the food is well priced and satisfying.
We waited for a short while before being seated. The food took a while to come, but it was worth the wait! My husband got two rolls (Vancouver and Tokyo) while I get the soupy udon at almost every Japanese restaurant I go to if they have it. The udon came with 3 types of fish, I think the two thinner slices were the same kinds but those were better than the other two slices. The udon and soup were not the best I've had but they were good enough, and my husband was pleased with the rolls he ordered.
Pretty good sushi and small plates. A little bit on the pricier side for rolls but everything was fresh and tasty.
We did come on a Saturday lunch but they were definitely understaffed and I struggled to get the waiters attention. Maybe consider going at a quieter time if you want good service.
The servers were very nice and a personal favorite of mine, they kept my water filled! They had a menu that had something there for everyone including the kids. The food was great and it came quick. That atmosphere was great and I love when you can see the sushi made at the front so you know it's fresh. When we were leaving everyone turned and said thanks and goodbye very kindly. Was a great place for a birthday dinner!
