I had the great opportunity to discover this business during my efforts in finding a fishing charter during my stay in Victoria. After finding a charter for a 1 day outing, the weather ended up canceling it, so we decided to ensure our luck and bring some West Coast seafood back to Alberta. We were able to select portion sizes for our fish, (Halibut,Salmon sablefish) and managed to throw in some extra goodies like frozen spot prawns and 'in house' smoke salmon. We had no issue's in asking for our order to be ready and secure for our flight back home the next day. Upon pick up the fish was individually vacuumed packed, tight seals and labeled, and flashed frozen rock hard, packed enough fish to last us till the spring :). The quality of product we ended up enjoying tonight was AMAZING, it was frozen so unbelievebly fresh, it had no essence of a "fish" smell from the salmon, the thickness of the portion sizes where excellent to cook with, the best part was on our receipt it mentioned pin bones removed and sure enough outta 3 portions 0 bones where found! That fish smelt and tasted so fresh, it was like we just caught it that day! Thank you for such unbelievable product, I can't wait to order more or haul some back on my next visit!

Their fish and chips truck was so delicious. I went to their fish store and bought some amazing salmon pepperoni and salmon jerk. Absolutely amazing. And they gave us free fish trimmings to feed to seals! A beautiful shop and tasty food!

Great fish and chips. Chowder good too. We like this place. It's a little out of the way but worth it. They also sell fresh seafood in the stote in the back. Probably the best seafood in town. Nicely decorated for Christmas making it very festive. Even in December we were able to sit outside on the patio to eat.

If you're looking for the perfect spot to satisfy your fish and chips cravings in Victoria and relaxed outdoor seating, look no further than Finest At Sea Food Truck for an impeccable Fish and Chips experience. The moment the plate landed on my table, I knew I was in for a treat. The fish was crispy golden batter enveloping a tender, flaky inside. I had one of the best fish and chips meals here. The portion size - it was beyond generous! We ordered more items, thinking that wouldn't be enough, and we were full by the time I finished only the first portion of the meal. The serving of perfectly golden fries that accompanied the fish was ample enough to satisfy even the heartiest appetite. The tacos were good, too, with fresh veggies inside, and were refreshing. The Fish and Chips here set the bar high. Loved every bite of the meal

Amazing food. We had the fish and chips and seafood chowder! I can have this everyday! Update: we went back to get the seafood chowder! This time we also grabbed the fish taco and halibut burger. Both were great! The fish is grilled instead of fried. It’s definitely more of a personal preference. I prefer the grilled so much more than the fried ones, so these are perfect!

Excellent sized fish and chips and super tasty oysters. Coleslaw could have had more flavour but its lacklustre taste, but good crunch, might have added in the Depp fired halibut out of this world. Would recommend eating here.

Love, love, love this place! I joke I spend a second mortgage here! They got a year round seafood to go restaurant in front, and seafood delicacies in the back. Love their frozen seafood chowder! Really convenient to heat up and always satisfying. They got fresh spot prawns, May and June. Even crab, lobster and king crab when available. If they got the smoked oysters available, try them, they are like candy. Also I heard the restaurant has a miso sablefish item on their menu, supposed to be good. One stop seafood shop! ♥️🐟⛵

It's the best fish and chips in town! Halibut is to go. I've tried the spicy octopus and they're delish :) ( it's an acquired taste). Please avoid coming in when cruise ships are in town. It gets very busy but they're quick and fast.

Omg, this food truck has some guts. The fish and chips are really good portion. The chimichurry taste great. The fish taste so fresh and the cuts are really thick so really moist in super crunchy batter. The drink sélection is not the greatest but 100% will come back for the food. Really cozy under cover space to eat

The Good, The Decent , and the just ,plain ,Boring at the Finest at Sea food cart . The time was about 5 PM and the sun was just relaxing its wonderful grip on the beautiful city of Victoria. We were hungry and staying nearby at the Coast hotel. We decided to try the seafood cart outside of the Seafood market on Erie street. We had walked by many times in the past and were always intrigued by their offerings. Having purchased delicious smoked fish at the market, we figured that some of that tastiness from the Seafood Market must have surely rubbed off on the Finest at Sea food truck. We ordered 3 items----the seafood chowder, the salad with the add-on of the Seafood Market's cold smoked tuna , and finally also , the interesting and different sounding Kelp !!! pakoras. Service was efficient and friendly , and we received our order in about 10 minutes. There is table seating on the grass strip in the front of the food truck and additional seating around the corner. Being located directly across from the park , opens up a 3rd option as well. Ambience was relaxed and nice around the cart. Now for the food----------------------- First--the Good ---the salad with the smoked tuna. This mixed salad was a generous portion of various greens, root veggies , and of course a nice portion of the tuna as well. The preserved lemon dressing was the perfect accompinament and balance to this salad. Definitely would order this again! The decent----- the Kelp pakoras were served with a parsley type chimichurri sauce as a side dipping sauce, They were fried crispy dark brown with the kelp providing a slightly crunchy and chewy texture . Funky Indian flavors with a bit of spicy heat, rounded out this decently prepared pakora. The only downside was that the pakoras were a bit greasy ( possibly needed to change the oil??). The Boring---the seafood chowder. I really wanted to like this. Again , being attached to the Seafood Market, I expected seafood in the chowder!!! None surfaced in the chowder .... not a clam, not a sliver of fish, not even a shrimp husk. NADA . After deep diving into the chowder, I managed to bring up only wedges of potatoes and a few fragments of red type veggie bits. Where is the SEAFOOD???? in the SEAFOOD chowder???? Disappointed , and saddened by what could have been a good if not great experience. With so much seafood to choose from in the Vancouver Island waters and a seafood market to pick from, this should have been wayyyyy better. Prices were mid range but because of the chowder let-down, I felt a bit gyped at the cart. Final Take---Again , I would return for that tasty salad , but that's about it.

Fish tacos are definitely recommended, and fish/potato soup is very tasty, too, however, portions are not the biggest, so if you are really hungry expect to take couple of dishes)

Yummy and fresh! We tried the fried oysters, fries and chowder. Took about 10-15 min. It’s a cute spot with good food. I’ll want to come back to try more. The fries are very good! Very crispy. The chowder was chunky and full of flavour. There’s parking right next to the stand, and it’s across from the park. Lots of places to sit and eat it. Would recommend :)
