Delicious, loved everything about this place. All the pastries looked top notch, and the customer service is out of this world. Daniel and his team worked hard to fulfil my requests.

Wonderful croissants, danish, carrot cake ... and the friendly staff. Price is also very reasonable. The only downside is that it's not a cafe, and I cannot enjoy the freshly bought pastries right away!!!
I started coming here recently after walking by and smelling the delicious baked goods. It's nice to see them making fresh things while you browse the selection. Love their bran muffins!!!! The bread is also good. Their cakes and pies are gorgeous.
I ordered a cake from here and asked if they could put a message on it. They said yes. Went to pick up the cake and the message was absolutely unreadable. Don't say you can do messages if you can't! The cake did taste amazing though.
Amazing Talent. Having travelled extensively it still makes me happy that I live in the town with Patisserie Daniel. From home style cookies with pizzazz to the most decadent cakes and tortes I have ever had, sorry Austria. Daniel is the amazing talent if you have never been there you must go, and if you have you're most likely a regular.

Delicious and Delightful. Picked up Christmas shortbread, gingerbread men, chocolate fruitcake, and rum balls, this week. All I can say is wow! My family is enjoying these wonderful christmas treats, I'm going to be making another trip before the 24th, I'm almost out of these goodies and it's not even Christmas day yet. Between hearing "more please" I also hear, "mmmm.... delicious, delightful, and yummy" between bites. Patisserie Daniel has a lot of wonderful elves baking magic in the kitchen.
Consistently delicious. I have never once been disappointed in the baked goods I've bought here, and I do a lot of my own baking, so I'm finicky. I have no idea what the person with the cookie issue was thinking: have they never tasted baking made with real butter and fresh ingredients? I wouldn't think of buying a birthday cake anywhere else. Their croissant are magic, and I love their bran muffins (big enough for two meals). The service is friendly, helpful and quick. Arguably the best bakery in town, from someone who has lived here for 30+ years.

Wedding Cakes are awesome!. Just did my son's wedding cake- absolutely amazing- had to survive 7 hour car journey- was in perfect condition when set-up next evening for reception and tasted fabulous too! Would highly recommend to anyone planning a wedding!

Amazing cakes at REALLY reasonable prices. They have not let us down and we’ve been ordering for almost 20 years. They made our beautiful and delicious wedding cake and continue to make all our annual birthday cakes.
Their carrot cake and Black Forest cake are to die for.

Friendly worker that came around the counter to point out all the GF options when we asked.
Huge selection; bread, muffins, croissants, danishes, tarts, cakes, cookies, quiches, sausage rolls and pies. They also make custom cakes (vanilla, chocolate and GF).
- Apple croissant ($5.25) - delicious with plenty of baked apple slices on top.
- Mixed fruit tart ($5.25) - fruits were fresh. Light, tasty almond base.
- Florentine ($4.25) - one of their GF options. Caramel butterscotch and dark chocolate on the bottom. Nice bite, similar to brittle.
Would come back for more pastries. 4.5 stars.
The most incredible bakery with the loveliest people working here. They make The Best gluten free cake my family has ever had. My Dad has had a severe wheat allergy since the 70's and was treated to this masterpiece. And! They do the same cake dairy free! Equally delicious! Everything they create is also a Stunning work of art. Their pride in workmanship does not go unnoticed.

The Cinnamon Roll here = Pure Masterpiece. I had the pleasure of getting one right out of the oven and this was the best I've ever had. It had the perfect balance of flavors for me and surprisely not as sweet as it looks.It was warm soft and well just perfect really.
A must a try this bakery everything looks delicious its hard to choose what to get here. I will definitely be back trying some more tasty items.
There's a lot in this cook street bakery to like. The pastries are great and definitely are on top of many experiences and the cinnamon bun accolades are well deserved! I prefer cream cheese frosting, but the cinnamon bun is among the best buns apart from that that I have enjoyed! It has a lot of cinnamon flavor, layered throughout, and it hits all my boxes for an amazing bite: soft inside with a little chew, and a subtle crisp outside for the textural contrast. The icing I do appreciate.
The almond and apple croissant are both just as satisfying, but the best experience is with their sourdough.
Over days of eating I have found it not to take on the same hardness as others so it's much easier to continually enjoy it over the week. The thinner crust adds to this perhaps and it maintains a softness with a good balance of tartness from their culture. Would come back many times over!
Patisserie Daniel has been around for ages, I've often driven by it and would see a line up outside before they open their doors. This bakery offers traditional baked goods and breads as well as cakes. We picked up a few croissants and a cinnamon bun. Both croissants are far from the flaky layer upon layers of French croissants, they are more crispy on the outside with a denser interior. However, the flavor and filling was not too sweet and you could really taste the almonds and fresh apples. Now, the star has to be the CINNAMON BUN! WOW, its the softest, fluffiest, ooey gooeyst (?!) cinnamon bun I've had. It's made with brioche dough, moist and you get the cinnamon sugar filling around in each layer. I would definitely go again for just for the cinnamon bun!
Came across this bakery while exploring Victoria and it is a must go! We got a Spinach Danish, a blueberry one, some raspberry and white chocolate cookies and a biscotti. Everything was amazing. Only comments were that the Danish had marzipan which was an unpleasant surprise for myself and that the biscotti was huuuuge which made it a little hard to eat. But the pastry was flaky and amazing. And the biscotti despite its size tasted delicious. The cookies were absolutely divine and prices were very fair.
Our wedding cake from Patisserie Daniel was the best ever - it was a work of art and absolutely delicious. What we most appreciated was the time Daniel spent with us on the design and ingredients - and the fact that he baked us a whole box of samples to take home and try, and also that he made the cake for us the day of our wedding, as they were closed the three days previously for the Labour Day weekend. Highly recommended!!!
Patisserie Daniel made our wedding cake for our August 2023 wedding. The entire process was so easy. Daniel was patient while we took forever to decide what we wanted in a cake. The cake itself was absolutely stunning and SO delicious. And he worked closely with our wedding planner so that all we had to do was order and pay and they handled the rest. Highly recommend!
