Came back to try Timkee after my roommate ordered from them. The place was kind of small and gave us the vibe that they are more focused on takeout/delivery rather than eating-in. Fair enough. The variety of dishes made up for it anyway. There are tons of options to choose from so you will never get bored, especially if you like beef or seafood (orange peel beef anyone?). We came out so full we could barely walk, lol.TL; DR: Good place to try if you are looking for Chinese
Nice little Chinese shop on Kitsilano. Lots of plates to share with and choose from. We had the shanghai noodles, fish & chicken hotpot, and wontons which came out very flavourful and not too expensive. Huge portions though! Service is friendly and casual but can be a little slow for us impatient ones. I would advice to either come during off/slow hours or simply getting some take-out.
Good Chinese option in the city. Solid Chinese food option. Funnily enough, I used to pass by it every day when I would head home from work but never really got around to trying it. Came with the gf the other day and was mildly impressed. I've come back a couple of times after that and the food is good. There is no "bad" food encounter here, esp with the spicy beef, sweet and sour pork and spring rolls, which is what I usually get. Service can be a bit slow sometimes but manageable. Would recommend going in off hours.
