The food’s was delicious and we will come back
Qieu Café is a small family-run Vietnamese cafe in the Crosstown area near International Village. As one of thew few Vietnamese restaurants in the area (the other is Hai Phong in the T&T cul-de-sac), it is a fitting ‘quick-eats’ addition to the already ethnically diverse area.
Great Pho and Rolls. There are very few great Pho places in Vancouver. Burnaby has their 24 hour pho cafe, but Q Vietnamese my be the best darn pho in Downtown. I went for lunch and ordered the Beef Pho. The broth was clear and very flavorful, loaded with beef trimmings and beef balls, the noodles were perfectly cooked.
I also ordered the chicken rolls which were very fresh and crunchy, it came with a generic peanut dipping sauce.
Don't let the small interior of this place fool you (it seemed to be a mother and daughter working) but I was served within 10 minutes of sitting down. Excellent service and friendly assistance with ordering from the menu. 10/10 would eat again.
This place has the best salad rolls. I've tried the beef and chicken rolls. Trust me, you will not be disappointed. I am definitely going to be a regular. Love it!
The Banh Mih is pretty yum and pretty big! Have yet to try anything else... If you love Banh Mih then hit this place up!
