Great with daily specials!. The Well Cafe makes good, satisfying drinks, and the staff is friendly. Prices are typical for drinks and food, and there are daily specials such as free mocha upsizes, half-off lattes, etc. They also have a stamp card system for drinks!
The ambiance is very calm and relaxing being located inside Regent College, a nice break from the rest of the UBC campus.
I used to go to the cafe on Dunbar and would travel 30 minutes to go there especially. The UBC cafe was also awesome - what a great vibe, wonderful service, great coffee... I wish they had more cafés all over the lower mainland!!!!
Before I started working here, I brought visitors to the Well to get my favourite high quality coffee in Vancouver and experience the heart of the college I attended. The Well always gave the real coffee taste and the warmest welcome that I couldn’t find anywhere else. Now that I’ve been working here for a year, I love it even more! I am proud to be part of this place that genuinely cares about its staff and customers, and makes such high quality coffee because it makes it for people.
So glad this place reopened after covid! Delicious coffee, friendly atmosphere, and great location with plenty of seating.
Really good coffee and fresh baked Vancouver goodies. Located inside a bookshop its a great place to grab a snack or coffee and sit down to study/chat with friends.
