A simple, unassuming Chinese restaurant but it is quite good. I normally don't like going to Chinese restaurants (after going so much, and for every single occasion since I was a child haha) but if I had to pick, Koon Bo would be one of the top places. They make a very good shredded chicken and jellyfish (? not sure of the English name). It gets quite busy in here and is very cramped. Would recommend making a reservation. Parking can be quite tight in the parking lot, but if you're lucky you can find free street parking around this area.
There were lots of customers waiting for the table at entrance. Luckily we had a reservation and we can skip the queue. *Highly recommend for table reservation* the food is delicious and the portion is big enough. Definitely I will come again. *Like*
Koon Bo is one of those Chinese restaurants that you would like to go with a bigger group of, at least 8 or 10 people. The dishes here are of great quality and big portion, but also on the pricier side. So it makes sense to have more people in order to try more different dishes. The place is known for a few dishes that you have to order 24 hours in advance, such as the Winter Melon Soup, which is labour intensive, and the Fried Squab, as they only use the freshest birds that are somewhat limited in quantity.
