Overall, very comforting. The soup base was delicious and beef was tasty. Definitely will stop here again when I’m around the area. Service was friendly and overall good experience.
came here because my friend told me about beer crab. so pre ordered the beer crab, and it was for a group of 6 ish people, the food is good, the beer crab is something different, definitely it brings out the sweetness in crab due to the alcohol as well, although the combination is not as good as i thought it'll be. i think if the selection of crab should be better and maybe some certain type of beer, only light beer something that is not really not super hoppy. overall i think it's pretty decent. the noodle must be asked for the beer crab, or you can also ask for noodle i think
It was coming down hard in rain and I really needed something comforting. I was passing by and noticed somewhat of a dive hole with alot of people inside. I decided to take a risk.
The wait was only 2 minutes, I lucked out. I got their traditional beef pho and wow... The broth is delicious.
I saw alot of other specialized dishes around me that made me want to come back and try it out with a bigger group of friends. Service was decent. Overall I was impressed and can't wait to try dinner out.
Well, I've found my new goto pho place. I came here for the first time last night and I ordered a typical bowl of beef noodle soup... and then I ordered another! It was that good. I mean, I was starving and it was my first meal of the day, but it is still the best pho I've had. It comes quick too. Like 2 minutes and you're eating. I'll be back.
Came here on a rainy day during lunch hour to satisfy a craving. Restaurant was quite busy but they were able to seat us. A younger male staff helped us and not sure if he was having a bad day but he did not speak at all. No smile or hello when we arrived and no acknowledgment when he took our order. Overall the food was OK. They charge $9 for a small bowl of pho and $10 for a large which is more than most Pho restaurants. I had the spicy pho which was $10.50. They give just the right amount of meat but the soup was not spicy at all. Looked like the regular soup base drizzled with drops of chilli oil. Also, the pork hock was just bone and no meat. Will I make an effort to go back? No..but maybe when i'm in the area.
Tried the dry egg noodles for the first time and I quite liked it. It came with seafood (shrimp, squid, and faux crab sticks), and had sweet soy sauce drizzled on it. I also added a good helping of chilli oil! Pretty good.
There's also a side of soup and that was tasty.
I've been trying to call them and no answer. Does anybody know if it's still open? The secret menu is one of my favourite dinners in Vancouver.

Came here a couple weeks ago and the food was fantastic. Perfect restaurant placement, right in front of the bus stop. Place was packed when we arrived and for good reason. Came with good sized portions of meat along with lots of noodles. Different meats were all equal, there wasn't too much of one meat or too little of another meat. Broth was swirling with flavour. The flavour was strong and absolutely delicious.
A good place for vietnamese dinners because of their special menu (preorder only). They have a special crab hot pot, ox tail and giant prawns which are expensive but very "special". The flavours are great in the oxtail and they put noodles in the crab hot pot after to soak up all the soupy goodness. I quite like their dry noodle/soup noodles and although it is expensive, their stuffed chicken wings are pretty good (spring roll filling inside a chicken wing).
