Excelente lugar con muy buen servicio y muy buena cocina, vale la pena cualquier plato, hay alguno muy picantes pero con muy buen sabor.
Muy recomendable relación precio calidad
This is one of our go-to places in the West End, it is so good. Excellent menu variety, the soup dumplings are excellent. When we finish trying everything on the menu I’ll let people know what our favourite is.
literally SALIVATING each time i think about how juicy and succulent their classique xiao long baoz are. they are quite efficient and get their dishes out pretty fast!
Video review on my youtube channel: vancity food crew dinesty dumpling house
.
I went here with a friend for lunch because she wanted last minute dimsum. We ordered the shrimp and pork shaomai, shrimp scallop and pork soup dumplings, and the beef noodles with satay sauce. The noodles were a bit overcooked but tasted fine. The shaomai were very juicy and tasty. The soup dumplings were kind of small so I didn't like that. Overall its decent and not too overpriced, but we didn't order the more expensive entree plates. Stick with dumplings and the cheaper noodle plates for a decently priced meal.
A franchise that has several locations across Vancouver, this one fares as a favorite for simple and quick chinese food. Supposedly their style is Shanghai because of their soup dumplings, their variation is slighty ranged across chinese cuisine. Their xiaolongbao soup dumplings are a must order, I am a big fan of the savoury pork ones. Family friendly and quick service is guaranteed for fair value prices.
Great selection of Chinese food, modern, clean, fast - efficient service, and last but not least, good value price!
Reservations are always a good idea - there is usually a lineup. Staff is brusque and efficient and your dishes will appear as they are ready.
In-house hand-made dumplings. This place is delicious. Recommend the beef noodle soup and dim sum items. Service isn't great and they don't take reservations, at least not on weekends, which is annoying, so expect to wait about an hour.
Dinesty Dumpling House had been recommended to me by friends who used to live in Vancouver. I’m a big xiao long bao fan and apparently they have the best around. Our table of two extended to become a table of five, I don’t think the wait staff were too pleased but it was great for me as there were more dishes I could try! To start, pork xiao long bao & pork buns. Xiao long bao was on point. And super cheap, I could go there and just eat plates of them! The pork buns were quite oily and I wasn’t as sold on them. Much prefer to stick to the steam dumplings but you never know until you try! Next round, scallop, prawn and squid stir fry with vegetables. I’ve been craving vegetables and this did the trick. Beautiful and fresh seafood and Veges with a simple white garlic sauce.
Thanks once again to H. for the recommendation! Went out for a ladies lunch and we were in walking distance to Dinesty Chinese Restaurant on Robson. From the outside it might seem a bit understated but inside it was quite hopping. Upon entering you are welcomed with a glassed-in open kitchen where you can see several chefs preparing various fresh dim sum. We were seated immediately but the restaurant was quite full and very busy.
Although Dinesty won many awards, they are average at best, but in the West End, they do fill the void for acceptable Chinese food. It's a decent option for those who live in the area and don't want to make a trip far. It's very friendly to customers new to Chinese food as there are photos for every menu item and the interior is very clean. There is usually a wait for a table but it shouldn't take too long as tables are in and out pretty fast.
Almost all foods tasted great. The portion of mapa tofu was huge, so it was more than enough for 2 people. And fried rice was also delicious. It was not too salty. And shrimp with peanut was super tasty. I will order this one next time as well. The taste of peanut was really nutty. And it was harmonious with other Chinese cuisines. Chicken with peanut was okay. I did not feel like to eat chicken on that day. Soup dumpling and fried dumpling were average. The fried noodle was great it was almost gone before other foods were finished. It was that much good. I will be back for sure.
First time trying soup dumplings... delicious!! I visited Dinesty twice on my trip to Vancouver and food was hot and tasty both times. Although service was pretty slow, it was expected as there are staffing shortages as a result of the pandemic and because it was very busy. Location is ample and tons of seating for downtown Vancouver. I would not recommend the other dim sum but would definitely order 2-3 orders of the pork soup dumplings!
We went here based on a google review and we were not disappointed.
The menu is incredible and we will have to go back to try more.
Dinesty is famous for their soup dumplings and they lived up to the rave. Absolutely delicious, and especially warming on this very cold Vancouver night.
We also had pork potstickers and the fried noodles which were spectacular.
We will come again on our next trip to Vancouver.
Sooooooo good!!
Tried their dumplings for the first time. Their Xian long bao are very flavorful and comparable to Din Tai Fung.
Flaky scallion pancake was super delicious but VERY oily omg.
Their vegetable & egg dumplings and toon buns were tasty too tho quite garlicky.
Overall a very nice experience!
Great atmosphere and food. Fast service and kind staff make for a great experience. 🔴WARNING🔴 Do not order beef noodle soup.
Our favorite soup dumplings place in the city. As close as you can get to the real thing. The original is the best. Always have had a good experience at Dinesty in Vancouver. The bean sauce noodles here are great too.
