Food: I cannot have too spicy food. However the food is not too spicy. It tastes good as well.

Interior: as it is a food court, I don't expect it has a comfortable and "feel like home" design. It is more for people who work around here and eat quickly. So don't blame the interior design badly. 😁😁😁

Customer Service: very friendly. I love how the staff greetings and suggested me the food.

Having been to Mumbai and eating authentic indian food , my review is understandably biased. This is an "express" location so I guess the standards for quality aren't as high as a sit down restaurant. But the taste and freshness just wasn't there. The butter chicken curry was too watery . I was missing that thickness and oiliness of using real ghee. The olive chicken tikka was quite dry as well. The naan was dry too, please use more ghee.

Ended up here after bad service changed our mind about eating at Betty's. Amazing. Ate a late lunch in house the ordered takeout as we left for dinner later on. Looks like all food is prepared fresh on site.

An ex-coworker decided to meet us for lunch and suggested the First Canadian place food court located on the upper level.  It was still being renovated for roughly over a year now.  Many previous restaurants had to close down or relocate.  The Amaya Express is one of the few places on the PATH where you can get an authentic Indian dish comparable to what you can find at an Indian buffett.  I decided to get a curry bowl ($6.99) on this visit.  You can choose Butter Chicken, Curried Veggies, and Beef Vindaloo with rice (two choices).  I ordered the Chicken Madras with my rice bowl.  They gave me lots of chicken and sauce.  I declined on the Naan since it was an extra charge.  They also offer Mango Lassi for those that cannot handle the heat.  The flavor of the sauce and rice was really good.  I wish temperature wise that it was warmer.  That kind of turned me off a little on the enjoyment of the dish overall.
