What a cool place! A great menu with big portions. The food was fresh and hot, and the spring rolls hand wrapped onsite. Highly recommend.
Without a doubt, the best take-away Chinese cuisine I have found in Toronto to date. Rice & Noodle is primarily fast, Westernized Chinese food, so keep your expectations in that range, and you will be incredibly happy. This is where you get your fix of crispy chicken balls and soft noodles smothered in black bean sauce, with packaged fortune cookies to end your feast on a high note. My new go-to for fast take-away or delivery -- super tasty, super quick, and super affordable. #comfortfood
Cheap and Delish!. We were starving and lazy last night and decided to order take out. I do not like Chinese food but my only other option was pizza so I decided to give Rice and Noodle a try!
I got Curry Chicken Lo Mein (even a small is huge!) and a large Chicken Balls to share. Honestly I didn't enjoy the chicken in the lo mein... it didn't look or taste very good so I would go with a veggie option next time. The heat was good though. My boyfriend got a small chicken fried rice and egg rolls.
The chicken balls were so freaking good! I wasn't even hungry and I chowed them down. The sweet and sour sauce was a generous portion and sooooo yummy!
Overall it came to under $30 and we had enough to fill us that night and take for lunch the next day! The delivery was super fast too (under 30 mins). I'll be back!
Cheap Eats. Service was great, food was super cheap, and though the dishes were below average overall I might go back for a quick cheap lunch.
Awsome food. Cheap and comes very quickly. As well as very nice people that with there. Highly recomend this spot to all in the west side of Toronto.
Came here for the Lunch Special. You get a choice from 12 meals for $7 after tax which includes a drink. Overall, it’s definitely worth it given that you would pay higher during dinner. Liked that you can order, pay and sit down to enjoy your food in peace. I ordered the shanghai noodles which tasted similar to what you would get at other fast food Chinese places. Had a short wait of about 5 mins to get my order. This inside looked like it was renovated and it was pretty clean. Would come back again.
I had fried rice with General Sao chicken. It was good. The cashier was nice and friendly.
We came here with a larger gathering and it was the perfect spot. It was recently taken over by new owners and you can tell they're putting a lot of care into running it. Service was fast and friendly, the food was delicious and the subtle changes they've made to the interior go a long way in creating a very welcoming atmosphere. If only I lived in Toronto this would be high in my dining/take-out rotation.
My son and I often go to this restaurant. Price is very affordable, the owner is a great guy. Very good service,and best of all, the lemon chicken and fried rice, bomb. The corn soup, good. My go to restaurant when I'm too lazy to cook for my picky kids.
One of the only Chinese food restaurants in parkdale and it was pretty great. Nice portions but could have been bigger. I like having leftover but I guess it was good because we ate it all with no leftovers
First time at Rice & Noodle but definitely not the last. The food was really delicious and you get a lot of food for your money. The noodles, rice, lemon chicken, sizzling beef........it was all really good. And they serve beer!
The only Chinese food place in the neighbourhood so it's good ok. It's great. It's good. Don't close. Please. Don't close. Really friendly service, lovely people at the counter, cute decor. Avoid the weird fake rubbery chicken, no general tsos or chicken fried rice. Soups and veggies and rice are classic yummy. Crispy beef is dece. The chinese broccoli is friggin amazing. Don't close.
Going there for over 15 years. I have a major intolerance to MSG, makes me very sick. Never once had a problem. Also their Cantonese style chow mein is my favorite.
Everything was pretty good ! I'm a sucker for fried noodles and they give you TONS which are pretty decent. A bit stingy on the meat though.
The areas a bit starved for this kind of Chinese food so i'm glad to have it near by.
late night, quick and dirty chinese food to satiate that craving only dirty chinese food can... honestly, its quite decent food, I've had much worse, but yeah, it won't win any awards, but it doesn't try to... good tasty portions at excellent prices
